Its a standard busiiness hotel. Warm and cozy room. Comforatable beds and facilities. Staff is friendly and helpful. If you are visiting Bruges for fun they have bus information ready. Its a 8 minute walk to the stop, but once on the bus its easy to get around the center. Would stay again.

The service was good but the rooms are quite basic and its 30 minutes walk form the historical center.
The walls are really thin so at night you can hear your moderately loud neighbors quite well. Not something I want for my romantic getaway with the missus.

Room Tip: All the rooms are the same

There is no way this is a 4 star hotel. As with many hotels, the foyer, and restaurant / bar area look nice, but once you get into the room it is another matter.

The shower leaked as the handle was hanging off the wall, so couldn't angle it to the wall. This made the floor treacherous. There was also black grot in the grout, and exposed rawl plugs. The beds however, they were comfy, clean, and fresh. Our kettle didn't work, found later it was the plug socket. The room was nice and quiet though, no street noise, and a nice peaceful night's sleep.

The location is not great. Each taxi was 9.50E, so that added another £50 to our budget, going back and forward.

We had one meal in the restaurant, the bar manager didn't look too pleased to see us. We had to motion to get drinks, and then he didn't notice when they were finished. He stood in the door to the kitchen the whole time chatting. We might have had 3 drinks, but couldn't get his attention. The food was pretty average, and pretty expensive £50 for two steak meals, and one drink each. I wouldn't bother if I were you.

They have an agreement with a taxi firm, but don't police it, so even though they order YOU a taxi, any guest will walk out and take it - this happened three times to us, once with full knowledge of the receptionist. That was quite annoying, particularly when there are trains to be caught.

If I were to go again, I wouldn't stay here. Over priced and not the quality you might expect.

We spent 3 nights at The hotel while on a cycling holiday in Belgium. The hotel is perfectly pleasant with good service and reasonable food.
It met our requirements for cycling, but we did spend one day without bicycles. It is a 30 minute walk (with 2 kids) to the centre of Brugge' historical old town. There are a couple of nice playgrounds very near to the hotel, but very little else without walking, biking or driving.
This is a good option as a base for cycling, but is a little too far away from the sights and amenities of Brugge.

When the sun shines - sitting outside with a good beer is recommended in the evening

We arrived with our 6 month old daughter, and a cot for her promptly arrived! Fab service from the friendly receptionist and lovely, clean modern rooms.
We got to the hotel late at night, and headed to the Brasserie for something to eat. We asked if they were still serving, and the chef managed a nonchalant grunt in our direction. Our food arrived, not all at the same time - the service here needs to be addressed!
We would recommenced and we would stay again. We would just avoid eating here!

Not so far from the centrum of Brugges this hotel comes handy if you're planning a bike trip (you can even rent one at the hotel) or if you just need to stop by and avoid the centrum traffic and complicated streets. the hotel has also plenty of parking and the staff from the hotel was very friendly. Rooms are clean and comfortable tough I must say that one of my towels had a big hole on it. When I arrived I was tired after a long ride and tried to take a nap at the middle of the afternoon but there was constantly noise from the doors and the elevators that was not far away from my room.

Room Tip: Far from the elevators

On early arrival, although we could not check in, we were told how to get to the centre which we did by a bus not far from the hotel for 2 euros each. Taxi was 9.50 euros so if 4 going worth it. We met several people on the way who were quick to advise us where to go and also on the bus the locals chatted and told us which stop to get off and how to return by bus. There was a fire drill whilst we were there and we quickly got out of the hotel to realise it was for staff only and they treated us to a drink for the inconvenience, which we felt if in the hotel was necessary for us to do as well. But very good. The staff also advise us of a really nice little village approx. 5 kms away which we could drive to or get a boat. We drove and was lovely. If driving this is the perfect hotel. Park up the car and get into town with friendly staff and good facilities. The only negative is that the evening meal was very pricey.
