The museum is conceived for flammand speaking children. If you're grown up the most interesting thing are the restrooms. Worth to visit only if you have some spare time or outside is raining and you bought the 3 days museum pass.
All the building interior structure is concealed.

Small and of very little value. This place should not be called a museum.. it has some exhibits and my 10 yr old liked the little treasure hunt she did but the adults in our group thought it was a waste of time!! Some exhibits on the middle ages, Romans etc in Bruges but it was all fairly superficial. Don't waste your time, there's much more to see in Bruge and this was just not worth it, we were disappointed.

To call this a museum is misleading - it's more of a kids' hands-on experience than a museum in the usual sense. There are some exhibits, but the descriptions are in Flemish and French, and the English sheet was only a brief overview of each section. We entered the museum half an hour before closing time, but still left with ten minutes to spare. I would have been disappointed if we'd paid to visit, but it was included in the Bruges city card.

We weren't even going to visit this museum in the first place. Some things were interesting but I wouldn't go back or take someone with me to visit it. I have an idea that it's more for children with the interactive parts.

I could have built a better exibition out of legos and card board boxes. What a joke this place is. If you do go and read this later you will visit Trip Advisor first next time.
