Trying to avoid tourist traps in Brugge is hard, but as we were walking back to the train station, we happened upon Marie's House, a quaint little tea house with a "snack" menu. We tried two of the croque-monsieurs that were way beyond the traditional ones and so good. The waffles were light and delicious, not too sugary, with heavenly whipped cream. Both the tea and the coffee were excellent, and i think they had it available for sale. The atmosphere was homey and warm, and the prices were less than half of what other places were charging. It's the perfect place for a late afternoon spot of tea.
