We were in search of a decent coffee after an overpriced and undrinkable one in the centre. Books and Brunch is off the beaten track but well worth seeking out. Excellent coffee and a selection of breakfast and lunch options in a laid back bookstore. We had a croque monsieur, which was served with a generous portion of fresh salad. Service is friendly, the coffee and food is reasonably priced and you can browse through the books while you wait. We will definitely go back for the scrambled egg, bacon and maple syrup.

On top of an excellent idea - bookshop and brunch in the same place - Books & Brunch breaths coziness and tenderness. Every dish is carefully thought out and oozes (for me) the feeling of long-ago times of eating at the grandparents. You remember, you were taking care of wholeheartedly and the food was always great. Same here. On top of that there's a great selection of books that can be bought at very reasonable prices. Check out the homemade lemonade too!

As I consider Books & Brunch to be an extention of my livingroom/library, homeliness is a major compliment ! Thanks a million !

For several times we came here in this unique setting to enjoy a super tasty lunch.
Tabitha conjures up the most delicious dishes from the beautiful open kitchen.
The atmosphere is exelent and the food fresh, top quality and original.
If you want to make an afternoon out of it you can feel free to sit in a sofa with a nice used book a good coffee and homemade cakes.
The books are also available at reasonable prices.
What makes it so dangerous to not go home each time with a lot of new used books:)
It's a real "zen" time if we go to B&B!!
We enjoy it every time hopefully you too

Definitely worth seeking out in Bruges- the food was excellent, drinks were nice and they have a top notch music playlist too!

They have a section of English books upstairs.

Perfect for a rainy winter's day in December - we'll be back for lunch, I think!
