“Superb hotel”

Such a delightful stay at this hotel. The owners are lovely, so helpful and welcoming and full of excellent advice for the city. They clearly love what they do and go out of their way to make every guests stay a success. Our room was spacious and comfortable with great heating/cooling for the changing temperature outside! Breakfast every morning was delicious...a huge buffet of cereals, breads, pastries, cold meats, cheeses, juices and you could have cooked eggs. Everything was delicious. The hotel is in a perfect location, incredibly close to everything. I will return to this hotel in a heartbeat!

Excellent hotel with central location. Rooms of high standards and very comfortable. Owners most helpful in all respects and would not hesitate in recommending this hotel. On arrival made to feel very welcome and given maps of the area also gave us advice on where to eat locally. Thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night break there.

Room Tip: Should you have any mobility problems, request a ground floor and a shower not bath in room.

What a super find - a 3 star that should be 5 star for service, cleanliness friendliness of the owners Ronny and Magda.
A Trip Advisor award winner and rightly so - if you want a hotel of character, an ideal location just close enough to the central area of Bruges, and real comfort then this is the place to stay.

Couples, family rooms and suites available

As a frequent business traveller, a private hotel will beat the chain hotels everytime -and all at a reaonable price.

Higjhly recommended

I had read other reviews about bathing arrangements so emailed about a month in advance to ask for a room with shower screen as I would be unable to sit in the bathtub due to arthritis. As we checked in Ronny mentioned my email and had given us a ground floor room just behind reception and facing the street. I was expecting a little noise but there was none and we had three very peaceful nights' sleep.
We were given a map with two walking tours marked and, using this as a rough guide, we saw not only the main tourist sights but also some areas off the beaten track.
Ronny and Magde are perfect hosts and I would highly recommend this hotel. I'd love to visit again in summer to enjoy breakfast in the garden.

Stay at this excellent hotel in Bruges. We stayed for four nights. Owners friendly, yet unobtrusive. Accommodation clean and comfortable. Breakfasts very good. Very quiet location, but still close to the central area (Burg & Markt squares) - it is possible to walk there in less than 5 minutes. We booked a very good deal via Eurostar.

We stayed 4 nights midweek in this well situated hotel in Bruges. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Good continental breakfast included in the price. The staff were friendly and very helpful - their recommendations for restaurants nearby were spot on! Would definitely recommend the hotel which is convenient, comfortable and good value for money.

Room Tip: We had a room overlooking the road on the first floor. There was some noise from the road but not in...

Stayed 3 nights in February. Hotel is 2 minutes from the Town hall square next to the market square where the buses stop. You can explore the whole of Bruges by foot from this hotel and get there by bus outside the eurostar station,The hotel itself has the original staircase from a 400 year old town house- not good if you find climbing stairs as the stairs slope but the rooms are well lit, warm, clean, quiet, beds are comfortable and you can ask for a kettle and tea-making things. There is tv and free wifi too. Breakfast is continental with individual tea and coffee pots, lovely patisserie and eggs boiled to order.. We stayed in room 5 overlooking the road but it was very quiet even there. The lovely dining room with chandeliers and the airy glass ceiling garden- facing dining room with classical music are relaxing places to start a day .
I think with the many deals on room prices (through Eurostar and the hotel itself) you get a good value hotel for a reasonable cost. our only one gripe, and it is minor, is that the bath/shower in our ensuite did not have a shower curtain and so water went all over the floor.
