So often you see pictures that do not live up to your expectation. I want to share that the property is even MORE beautiful than the pictures. You will NOT be disappointed. There are 2 women who run the B&B. Hilda was there for the 2 days we spent in Bruges. She was amazing! First, we arrived late due to a train delay, but she walked us through how to get in and gave us a wonderful restaurant recommendation! The breakfast she served was fantastic and made us feel very much at home. We stayed in the gray room - which was adorable!!

However, what sets this B&B apart is the fact that we got the FULL movie tour by Hilda! In Bruges inspired us to go there, and it was so much fun to see where Colin Ferrell shot two of the biggest scenes in the movie. And BTW - he stayed at Number 11 for the 3 months he was there filming! How about that? Wish we could have stayed longer, but will definitely go back. Bruges is an absolutely magical town!

Room Tip: Any of there rooms are fantastic - but this hotel is also on a quiet street and right next to the canal at a very picturesque location. Paradise!

Very nice, well located, peaceful, beautifully decorated, very accommodating,

BUT

the common area is tiny (all people staying there could not possibly be in the lounge at the same time) and poorly lit (so hard to chill and read there), and there is no one there during the afternoon and evening to deal with any queries.

Priced at top end of range but it is slightly overpriced, probably because it only has 3 rooms and a suite so they can afford to charge such rates.

If you want a full service hotel this is not it. If you want something quaint and different and more like being home away from home, in a beautiful home then this may be for you.

Room Tip: The suite is available and is the nicest room/area but it is not obvious from the web-site

Booked No 11 as it looked good on the website and found it to be even better when we got there. We arrived mid morning and the room was ready, not that we had expected that. Stayed in the Vanilla Room and the bed was really comfy. Lovely bathroom with great free-standing bath and also a large shower. Breakfast was plentiful and staff welcoming and helpful. The only issue is that there is no tea/coffee in the room. It is available free in the kitchen (and coffee is superb), but first thing in the morning you wouldn't want to see me there in my pyjamas. Will definitely stay there next time I visit Bruges,

Room Tip: Vanilla Room is the smallest, but compared to some hotels I've stayed in it is large and the bathroom is delightful.

We chose this place only by trusting the reviews from tripadvisor and this was the best choice for our honeymoon!!! Everything is wonderfull here, the room is very cozy, the bathroom has a charming vintage bath, breakfast is gently prepared. Hilde has always been kind and gentle, suggesting restaurants and places to visit. We stayed at vanilla room which is very pretty. We would defenetly recommend this place! and would love to go Back!

This gorgeous old house is an excellent setting for a base in Bruges. It is large, tastefully furnished and made feel particularly comfortable by Tanya and Hilde. Many rooms have a fireplace, the suite where I stayed had an amazing HUGE bath. The courtyard is quiet, green, with areas to relax and read a book. Internet is free and high quality. Prices are 60% of hotels nearby without anything close to these amenities. The location is CENTER. 5 minute walk everywhere. The house was used for several scenes in "In Bruges" movie (just to add appeal). Overall: Amazing experience. Don't miss it.
