What a lovely place! My sister and I stayed in the Lila Room for 2 nights and can't think of better things to say about the B&B. Lut was a wonderful help, suggesting places to go and things to see. It was perfect in every aspect; one of the best accommodation places I've stayed at.

I only stayed for one night as it was an impromptu solo trip over the weekend of 18th dec. I stayed in the lavender room and I couldn't ask for anything else. Sheer coziness and warm fuzzy feelings.

I called Lut at about 9am n she said she only had 1 room for 1 night. I said I'll take it! I travelled from den haag to bruges and arrived at the B&B at about 2pm after walking from the central station by train.

Good points:
1. Easy to find as the streets were clearly named. I had my 3 euro map so it was a breeze
2. The house window had Lut en Bruno Setola bed n breakfast clearly written so u won't ring the wrong doorbell.
3. Lut opened the door n brought me straight to my room on the 3rd floor.
4. Room was super clean n super cozy. I had a double bed and there was also a single bed. The room could fit 3 people in all coziness with room to spare.
5. Pillows everywhere!!!!!!!
6. Bathroom was comfortable with natural light coming in from the roof opening.
7. Paintings are put in many places in the house. Bruno is an artist n have many artist friends.
8. Lut showed me on the maps nice places to eat and visit in bruges. Very friendly.
9. U have two self control heaters inside the room and 1 in the bath.
10. Towels and handtowels are made ready for ur use. Clean as well.
11. There is a full table of bruges guide and maps which can be shared with other travelers. U can also contribute to the table if u want. U can read other travellers reviews bout restaurants and places of interest in a book on the table.
12. Location is uber awesome. Just 3 mins walk to the great market or Grote Markt/Markt. 3 mins to Burg. And generally 5-10 mins everywhere. There are also nice restaurants near the bnb namely Cambrinus.
13. Breakfast was so homey. Prepared between 830-10am. I got s basket of Danish, coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice, toast, muesli, assorted fruits, cereals, eggs, deli slices, milk, etc etc etc. The list goes on actually. I had my little corner near the window n it was purfect. There were 2 other Belgian couples in the bnb n they had the bigger table.

To note:
1. There were shower gel and and hand gel. So best to have ur own everything else.
2. Walls are thin so don't scream ok.
3. No Internet reservation. There is an email but I didn't try this. I called up starightaway.
4. Check out is at 1030am so plan ur day well. Maybe u can check out later if u can check with lut first.
5. Payment is only by cash.
6. If u stay only 1 night there is a 10euro charge extra (too bad for me)

There is really nothing bad about this place. Would soooo definitely return and stay much muchnmuch longer!!!!!

The B&B is positioned very centrally within Bruges, less than 5 minutes walk from the main marketplace, belltower and town square.

The building itself is beautiful and the decor inside the home is tremendous. Really reminds me of some of the expensive boutique hotels of Paris. Inside the rooms, the decor is tasteful, furniture practical, but not luxurious. The bathroom is well appointed for a B&B, but it is not hotel standard. Breakfast was continental but of very good quality. Tea and coffee available in the rooms.

The owner Lut is really charming, made us feel very welcome. She was helpful and even got up at 6am to try and get me a taxi.

Overall was really good value (Bruges is very expensive) at 140 Euro for 2 nights. I would recommend.

I recently stayed at B&B Setola for three nights, and it was a wonderful experience. The house is in a great location, close to everything. The room was extremely comfortable, with free tea/coffee facilities. Lut is a very considerate hostess, willing to suit breakfast times to guest needs. She even packed a wonderful breakfast for me, since I was leaving early in the morning. A great place to stay, that I would recommend to anyone travelling to Bruges.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Setola Bed and Breakfast. Lut is a delightful hostess, and she was very helpful with restaurant suggestions and what we should see with our children, (ages 8 and 10). We stayed in the Loft Bedroom, and our children loved sleeping in the loft. The breakfasts were delicious with fresh pastries, breads, meats, cheese, mueslix, fruit, fresh squeezed juice, tea, coffee, and on our last morning we had fresh boiled eggs. We would definitely to stay here again if we get the chance to go back to the beautiful city of Bruges.
