“Nice basic accomodations”
Reviewed December 16, 2012

Small, clean, room and bathroom. Not accomodations you'd want to spend all your time in, but a good place to crash, and inexpensive. We spent one night there, and while it was great for our needs, it wouldn't have been the right choice for us if we were spending a few nights. A little far from the nearest parking garage, but not a bad walk without luggage.

I and 7 friends stayed here on a short break to the Xmas market in Bruges. The rooms were clean and enough for a couple of nights. Not much space to unpack your cases though. Ideal location for market and town centre. Prices reasonble and breakfast plentiful. Bar was well stocked with beers but we only managed to get a drink in there once as it was busy all the time.
The markets are nowhere near as pretty or reasonable as the ones in Germany.
The bars and restaurants are well over priced and they are not people friendly.

I think Hotel Cordoeanier is a perfect place to stay if you're going to visit Bruges.
Is located a few meters away from the Marktplatz, which has also a very good communication with the train station (buses each 5 minutes more or less).

I was travelling with two friends so we stayed in a triple room. This room was a little narrow but confortable and convenient if your planning is not just being all day in the hotel. It was clean simply decorated.

The best way of beginning our days in this magnificent city was having the breakfast we found every morning in the dining hall. It was complete and tasty.

And finally, the staff. They were friendly and helpful, which is appreciated.

So, in brief, I do completely recommend this hotel. I would truly come back.

Very small room for 4. Loud hallways, you can hear your neighbors. Location was great. Parking was a few blocks away though. The t.v., althought not a selling point, was so small and nearly mounted on the ceiling. Breakfast was typical with bread, cheese, eggs, ham, etc. It was free for our room which was very nice. The staff was very nice and spoke perfect English. I was very disappointed in the room size. Normally a quadruple room is a good size with a sitting area. This one had enough room for 4 to sleep and that was it. The bathroom wasn't much bigger than a closet. The shower drained very slow so you were standing in a pond while showering. The Red Rose bar was good, but not sure why it was rated so high on Trip Advisor.

Room Tip: Get a bigger room than required for your party.

A great place to stay for a short break in Brugge. The room was fine for a few days, although the shower/toilet room was very small. The staff were very friendly and multilingual, there was a hot or cold breakfast which was good. The bar (Red Rose) had a lovely atmosphere and had a great choice of Belgian beers, it also seemed to be very busy at lunchtimes.

The hotel was located just off the main square and ideally situated for all the bars, restaurants and shops. We walked up from the train station which took around 15-20 minutes.

If it was not for wanting to stay in different places I would certainly stay here again.

Room was smallish and quite spartan, bed rather soft. Single glazed windows mean lots of condensation but heating worked well and shower was new. Staff was friendly but did not go out of their way to offer a little extra help and could be quite firm on implementing their rules (e.g. where to sit for breakfast). Overall fine but could be much better with a little more service orientation.
