From when you pull up and the gates are opened to allow you to park you know this hotel is going to be lovely. The rooms were traditional and comfortable. The bar was quirky and i would imagine on a colder night really snug.We sat outside late in the evening for a drink and it was very peaceful.Very near to the square and everything you want to see in bruge. We had originally decided to walk into bruge for our breakfast but in the end we decided to eat it in the hotel.I am glad we did although it is 25 euros it was very good(you could have egg and bacon)plus all of the buffet produce. The breakfast room was lovely and the staff excellent.

Just spent 3 days in Bruges and the Royal Hotel De Tuilerieen was Excellent. From the rooms to the front desk everything was 1st class and we would definitely recommend staying here again as we would again in the future. Close to everything, the Bell Tower, canal cruises, great restaurants, a nice park, the fish market and much more.

Room Tip: We stayed on the 3rd floor and it was fine as the view of the Bell Tower was great and the A/C worked fine. It was hot and we needed it.

If you’re going to Bruges for a little weekend break than you can't go past this sweet hotel! Rooms are a great size, big bed (but a bit lumpy), lovely shabby chic furnishings and the canal at your door step! We were upgraded to a canal room and had a great view with the sounds of the horses clip, clopping down the cobble roads!
Breakfast was punchy at £25 pp however we found a cafe on the Market Square serving coffee, juice and croissants for €4.50.
Great for a romantic stay!

Very good Hotel with ideal location and parking spaces. Comfortable hotel to enjoy Bruge for 2-3 nights. Especially like the suites away from the main hotel building at the far end of the courtyard. Very narrow archway entrance to the carpark!

We really admired the amount of space we were able to enjoy in our spotlessly clean executive room . We had two comfortable double beds and a large bathroom with a great power shower, double sinks and delicious toiletries. The decor was solid, old, in keeping with the age of the hotel and rather charming.
The breakfast was good with plenty of healthy home made options and cooked eggs and bacon to order.
There were a few niggles, however, that prevent us from giving 5 stars. There was a collection of cleaning materials left to "greet " us (instead of the special gift we were promised - Belgian chocolates) just outside our door which remained for three of the four nights we were there. We found out that the 2 rooms on either side of us were empty and the cluttter was only removed on our last day when our neighbouring rooms were to be occupied!
The reception staff were very young but polite enough. Apart from one admirably professional young man, we didn't think they had the worldliness for the job and it would have been good to see a few more mature staff also. The breakfast staff, on the other hand, were very mature and not particularly welcoming. We didn't perceive a real feeling off warmth or genuine welcome.
However I really enjoyed the breathtaking beauty of Bruges. The food, beer and scenery are just amazing and the Hotel Tuillerieen is in the perfect location to enjoy all that Bruges has to offer.
Therefore I would certainly recommend this hotel if with a few reservations.
