Stayed here with my daughter for 2 nights and we loved it. Staff helpful and friendly - showed us right up to our room, although the outdoor lift is VERY slow, so only use it to move your luggage. Room was very comfortable, although the bathroom was a bit too close to the bed (in room 36), so maybe run the taps a bit, for privacy, if you know what I mean! Bath and shower good, with toiletries provided.
Breakfast was lovely, with fresh fruit salad, cold meats, cheeses and smoked salmon, pastries and bread, with good selection of jams etc. Cooked breakfast was just scrambled omelette type egg thing, with sausages and quite crispy bacon, but we don't really do the cooked breakfast thing, so not too bothered that it wasn't as extensive as the typical 'full English'. Also, a jar of Belgian chocs in sachets - well, what could I do? Be rude not to!
What we really loved about this hotel was the bar area where we had a last drink on returning at night. It's like being in an old-fashioned living room with log fire. Could have spent many a winter evening here, it was so homely. We both had hot chocolate drink as well as (yet another) Belgian beer - reasonably priced, and served with nibbles and (yes, you've guessed it, or have you?)more chocolate - a few little chocolate eggs! Brilliant! Noted that the whisky on the drinks menu expensive though @ ( I think) 8 euros.
Easy walking distance to the centre of Bruges, the Markt, Belfry etc. There's a great little cafe nearby too, just as you approach the canal, which has a cool juke-box. Really good atmosphere for a Belgian beer or 2. Oh, and in a shop nearby, we met a man who had met Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson when they were filming 'In Bruges', and had the photos to prove it.
Brilliant stay. Loved it!
We loved it here.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great choice for breakfast including variety of breads & pastries, fruit, yogurt, cereal, cheese, meats and cooked egg, bacon etc. Communal rooms are charming with lots of character. Bed room was very comfortable and pleasant with nice bath and strong shower.

Room Tip: Knight room, good value and very comfortable. Room 12 had high ceiling in roof and exposed beams. Ma...

This was a fantastic hotel, no further than a 10min walk to all the major city sights and attractions. The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. The selection at breakfast was excellent, including fresh orange juice and lovely coffee.
The room was clean, very warm and comfortable, would highly recommend this excellent value for money hotel.

We loved the hotel! It's a small hotel but very cozy and warm. Excellent service. Great location. You really can't beat the fact that it has complimentary buffet breakfast! It's good. Eggs, bacon, sausage, cereal, fruit, cold cuts, bread, muffins - great breakfast! Wi-fi in the room was spotty but at the bar no problems. The pressure in the shower was better than what we had in London.

We loved this hotel, it is very central and has a 24hr secure carpark 50yrds away for 10 Euros. We stayed in a Baroness Romm which was lovely and the Breakfast in the morning was also excellent. I really wouldn't look anywhere else for a nice clean central hotel.

What a lovely hotel. Clean, beautiful original decor, very friendly and helpful staff. We stayed in room 30 which was a deluxe room, lovely and quiet, very nice size, huge bathroom and an awesome power shower. The hotel was a short walk from the main centre and a great base to explore. My only gripe would be the TV which is very small. We also received a personal handwritten congratulations card as we were staying for our mini-moon! You just don't get those kind of touches in bigger hotels. Highly recommended.

Stayed 3 nights and can thoroughly recommend this hotel from my experience. Hotel has traditional decor, spotlessly clean, breakfast was good with plenty of choice, room was large with everything you would expect of a 4* hotel and in a great but quiet location in the heart of Bruges. Main market square was a 3min walk from this hotel.
