My wife and I spent 1 night at the Hotel Adornes (6/21). The room---#17--- (130 Euros) was very spacious, charming and offered a wonderful view of the canal. The bathroom was very comfortable. The bed(s) very comfy. The exposed beams and view from the roof top added to the old world charm of this city, and this hotel.

The staff was wonderful; the breakfast very filling. The car park around the corner is very convenient (and free!). The also offer free bikes to ride, but we did not take advantage of them.

Figure a 10-minute walk to the 4 windmills in one direction...and a 10-minute walk to the town square in the other direction. The Lace Center is about 5-minutes away.

It may not be in the "heart of the action"near the town square, but it was very quiet and convenient enough.

Driving out and back to the highway was a breeze.

We would definitely stay here again!!!

Very nice and comfortable in lovely part of town. The staff is extremely accommodating and full of great recommendations for what to see, where to eat, where to sample great beer. I would recommend this hotel to any friends or family travelling to Brugge. Rik is great.

the room's deco was boring with old curtains & bedspread & it could have been cleaner. The plus was the helpful staff. The area was quiet but too long a walk to the center of town.

Perhaps the friendliest little hotel we have ever stayed in. So impressed were we with the staff and the cleanliness that we are almost reluctant to share it with others. From the moment we rang and made a reservation (following on from reading reviews on this site) we were not disappointed. A friendly and courteous welcome awaited us. We had a family room for one night and the hotel even gave us free parking in an underground car park nearby. Only point to mention is we had two teenagers and the extra bed is a sofa bed - which is quite adequate for two kids aged up to about 12. Ours were a bit squashed - BUT our bed was great! Breakfast is a nice cosy affair and there was enough for everyone's tastes. (Echo the comment about the great coffee!). Reception can give you names of places to eat and drink (including the bar with over 130 beers on offer!). Can't believe that somebody thought it was a noisy hotel with loads of traffic! This is the quietest place we have ever visited - very peaceful. After 7pm the streets are deserted but it's one of those places where you feel very comfortable just walking about - whatever time. Nice place, nice people. Go!

Lovely little hotel within reasonable walking distance from all the sites in Bruges. Buffet breakfast was superb with a variety of hot and cold choices and GREAT coffee! Hotel staff was helpful - they arranged a taxi for us for an early morning departure. Also since we left too early for breakfast, they gave us a small bag of bread to eat on the way! Our room was large for 3 people - it had the large wooden beams and a good view - and bathroom was large enough and had been updated. We would definitely stay here again.
