The hotel is situated in a quieter area but is still only a 5 minute walk to the main square. I really liked this hotel – our room overlooked the canal and it was lovely waking up to that and starting the day with a walk along the canal.
The hotel is small and only has a few rooms but is perfectly located. Breakfast was fantastic – a very wide selection, and I have never been offered such a wide variety of fresh bread before!.
The hotel has bikes which can be used at no cost which we thought was very handy and we borrowed the bikes to cycle out to Damme.
Rooms are basic –but clean. If you prefer a proper shower, perhaps ask before booking if any of the rooms have this. Ours had a hand shower which worked perfectly fine.
Wi-fi is free, however you may experience difficulty connecting from your room as we did, however, the connection works fine downstairs in the lounge area.
The staff at reception are very helpful with providing advice on what to see, where to go, restaurants etc. I would go back.

Adornes was everything we hoped for and more. Superb location, canal views and quiet, but only a short walk from the centre.

But make sure you take the door code with you when you go out; they close the door at 11pm. This hadn't been mentioned to us on checking in but we were lucky to find Rik was still there late.

I'm unsure what the earlier comment was about tight car parking. I have a large estate car and there was room to spare - the spaces are much larger than any town centre car park or multi-storey.

We were there on our Honeymoon. The staff, the room, the parking.......all were provided with a level of kindness rarely found. We felt taken care of at all times and that no request would be denied. I can't tell you how much this level of service is needed and appreciated in a country other than your own. Room was spacious and clean. Bed was one I never wanted to leave. And the recommendations from the staff for restaurants and shops were spot on every time. The sound of hoof claps at the end of our evening from outside just made the ambiance even better.
Highly,highly ( did I say Highly??) recommended!!!!!!!!!

Room Tip: Get a room overlooking the canal.......it will add to the expierence!

This was an excellent hotel - I'd recommend it to anyone. Rik, the owner, was hugely helpful, friendly and funny. The rooms were clean and nicely sized. The location was great - only a few minutes away from the town center. There is a canal right outside the hotel. Good value for money. Would definitely stay here again if I came to Bruges.

Listen to the reviews. Tripadvisor has never let me down.

Location excellent, in a quiet location on a canal, just minutes from Brugge city centre. If you have a car parking can be provided in a nearby underground secure car park just 250 metres from the hotel. A wonderfully warm welcome from Rik the owner, who gave us the low-down on all the upcoming events in the town, and suggestions on the best bars and restaurants. We took him up on these suggestions and found them to be well worth a visit. A great choice of breakfast options to start your day. Would highly recommend as a 3-star hotel choice.

Booked based on the reviews on tripadvisor which are pretty positive. We arrived and were greeted by Rick, the manager who was very friendly and helpful. Having arrived on the overnight ferry from Hull we got to the hotel at about 10 a.m. Our room was not ready, so we were upgraded for free to a larger room that was ready. We were in room 2, on the ground floor, which was plenty big enough, clean and comfy. The staff were always very useful and helped us book a few activities. Breakfast was very tasty. Highly recommended and nice and close to all the main attractions in Bruges

Room Tip: We were on the bottom floor. Although we had a lovely view out onto the canal, maybe being on higher...

We found this hotel on trip. We asked for a quiet room and it was lovely. Beds comfy, warm, lovely bath with oodles of hot water. Good breakfast infront of a lovely fire. We caught the ferry from Hull so the bus comes into the station. Catch a 4 or 14 bus to near the hotel. Easy. Then you can walk everywhere. Everyone in the hotel is so helpful and kind. We had very good recommendations for eating and chocolate shops. So I would highly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Don't book restaurants wait until you get to the hotel.
