High expectations of this place but left disappointed. Old room. Poor male showers. One toilet for whole floor. Most staff friendly. One staff member very rude. Stain on blanket. Great location however. Breakfast consisted of muesli and cornflakes

We stayed there 1 night and was a good deal as the town is expensive; it`s a hostel anyway, so we got what we paid;Good location - 15 min walking to the attractions; room was fine, but very basic; at least was clean, but old furniture; lady bathroom was fine, but gentleman bathroom not as good as expected; my husband complained from the shower - there was hot water only as part of the shower was broken, so he couldn`t manage to mix it with cold water; breakfast was fine, but you have to be there @ 8am; otherwise will not get a lot of things; I liked the bar - really nice place; the staff is very friendly and helpful; you can use the lockers - 3 euro for 4 hours; there was an american girl who did a tour around the town and it`s free; there are free maps on the reception; it`s not suitable for family with kids, most of the guests were young people on budget; if I go back in Bruges, will stay there again;

Friendly staff, clean bathrooms and a nice stroll to the main tourist area but unless you like sleeping above a bar then you might struggle to get a good nights sleep
The bunks were hard and vibrated every time the person above you moved, the key-cards to enter the rooms were unreliable with one woman getting locked out of her bedroom upon returning from a shower so had to come down to reception in her towel to get another key-card
Breakfast was basic but pleasant but check the cutlery as some of it wasn't cleaned properly and this was the case most mornings when we went down to breakfast

This was my 2nd time in Brugge. THe hostel is very nice, it stayed in a private room with bathroom which was very modern. The hostel has a lot of character, and also a very nice bar that closes around 3am. It is a 15 min walk to the markt but since Brugge is small city, that wasn't a problem.
The only thing I didn't like is that rooms don't have a security door so anybody can come in and just walk around the corridors.
I highly recommend this one. I would repeat it if ever come back to Brugge again.

€16 each a night, bed already made, comfy, clean and with breakfast and storage included in the price - what more could you want, by far the best hostel we've stayed in
the hostel is located about a 5/10 minute walk from the main square and about 25 minutes from the train station we found it to be a good location and enjoyed walking round the lovely town of Bruges
our only complaint: the wifi, it was unpredictable downstairs and was almost non-existent in the rooms other than that we would recommend

Good deal for a rather expensive town. Good sleep, quiet. Good breakfast included. No kitchen, not even a microwave in a corner. Supermarket near. Wifi rotten (had to go to mcdo, 5 minutes biking.) i would be back with a similar deal.

Pluses: clean rooms, ok size single beds with privacy curtains, free ear plugs at reception, great bar with happy hour deals, bed-side lamps, drawers you can padlock, electricity plugs at every bed, generally clean and modern rooms, toilet and shower facilities.

Minuses: can be really noisy from the bar.

Overall: really cheap and acceptable accommodation for a stay in Bruges.
