Description: Parazzar means in french "by coincidence". In a high street awards the city, you'll almost pass trough it, because it's quiet un markable. It's a very busy local pub, where quality is very important. No lager beer on tap but trappist Chimay triple, no penetrating advertising but art on the walls, no elevator music but vinyl on the mixer, no high headed people but the right heart on the right place, It's always cosy trough de low scale un false ambiance, lovely eclectic music, a late night piano tune by the boss, a suddenly poem trough the speakers, improvisation live concerts, a tear and a lough with our theater in winter. This all makes Parazzar rather a unique place in the very commercial city of Bruges. We stationed symbolic out of the city walls, but very near the culture house (MaZ), the big concert building (t'Zand), 10min walking to the rail station, and close to the locals. U can join a very nice meal made from fresh house made ingredients. Our beloved spaghetti is served to midnight. Wonderful sharp prized cocktails, impressive gin menu, nice wines with several cheese to choose, a lot of alternative non alcohol drinks, en a beer list to be proud of. So, what are you waiting for?

“Quietly bouncing!”
Reviewed April 8, 2014

In my many searches on Trip advisor I had come across this bar close to the Hotel Olympia where we were staying and could not understand the comments that there was no where within miles! If you passed this place by then you missed a diamond because this is the the sort of gem that one only comes across once in a lifetime, we can all remember those wonderful places we visit on holiday and this is one of them. Nothing is to much trouble, if you want food at 10.30pm then you can have it. When i refer to 'quietly bouncing' there is low background jazz music which is unobtrusive and just blends in with the atmosphere. I am 68 years old and was quite at home with the much much younger people in this bar, this is a gem, go visit!

“Great atmosphere drinks and food”
Reviewed March 21, 2014 via mobile

We had a little jet lag and wanted something to eat at 10:30 on Thursday night. I had seen this place and opened the door from a quiet street and was warmed by a packed place of people all having a great time. Drinks, the beer list was comprehensive and so was the food. We had a pizza due and it was perfect. It does get busy but in a good atmosphere kind of way not uncomfortable and rowdy. Really worth it if you are in the area.

“great little bar with food just outside of Bruges.”
Reviewed September 16, 2013

Cozy little bar with friendly wait staff. Affordable and on Sunday nights during the winter they play unique music. Yuri is the proprietor and he speaks fluent English!

“Small menu - Great atmosphere”
Reviewed September 12, 2013

We arrived on one of the most horrendous nights in September, cold and pouring down with rain. The place was full of diners.

“Small café with a few dishes that are very good”
Reviewed July 12, 2013

This is a small pub that organises a lot of live music and then it's crowded. The also have a few dishes to eat that are very delicious like spaghetti bolognese (home made), pizza's, ... Nice for a night out.
