Description: Parazzar means in french "by coincidence". In a high street awards the city, you'll almost pass trough it, because it's quiet un markable. It's a very busy local pub, where quality is very important. No lager beer on tap but trappist Chimay triple, no penetrating advertising but art on the walls, no elevator music but vinyl on the mixer, no high headed people but the right heart on the right place, It's always cosy trough de low scale un false ambiance, lovely eclectic music, a late night piano tune by the boss, a suddenly poem trough the speakers, improvisation live concerts, a tear and a lough with our theater in winter. This all makes Parazzar rather a unique place in the very commercial city of Bruges. We stationed symbolic out of the city walls, but very near the culture house (MaZ), the big concert building (t'Zand), 10min walking to the rail station, and close to the locals. U can join a very nice meal made from fresh house made ingredients. Our beloved spaghetti is served to midnight. Wonderful sharp prized cocktails, impressive gin menu, nice wines with several cheese to choose, a lot of alternative non alcohol drinks, en a beer list to be proud of. So, what are you waiting for?

“Fantastic spaghetti bolognaise, great beer & atmosphere!”
Reviewed June 16, 2013

We stayed in Bruges for 3 nights in March and popped in here every night. We ate twice, the spaghetti was particularly good, but the place is made by the friendliness of the staff and the great selection of beers at very reasonable prices. Parazzar has a cosy intimate feel that we thought was lovely. We will definately call in here again next time we come to Bruges!

“Good value”
Reviewed June 16, 2013

Found ourselves tired and hungry and this was the closest place to eat. Basic Italian, mainly pizzas and pasta, nothing too elaborate.

Good bar and friendly service. Very good value, 9 Euros for a reasonable sized plate of spaghetti boldness.. Very filling.

Not a place I would go to celebrate an major event but if you want a basic meal and drinks at reasonable prices, and of course you eat Italian, then this establishment is quite adequate.

“Okay if you are staying in this area”
Reviewed March 28, 2013

We arrived in Bruges after travelling for 10 hours and this small restaurant wasn't far from the hotel we were staying in. They were holding a jazz concert which hadn't started the evening we wandered in so we think there would have been more tables normally. They also play modern jazz over the speakers; it wasn't our taste. The food was okay - a small, thin crust pizza and a cheese and tomato omelette but it took at least 50 minutes to arrive! We understood everything was made to order with nothing from the microwave which is commendable but we got the impression that other people who had arrived after us were all being served first. We should have left really but it was getting late and we were tired. Service was friendly enough and it might suit others but we found other places in Bruges we were happier with.

“Great local place to grab quality, good priced food in Bruges!”
Reviewed March 3, 2012

We were directed to this place by a few locals, we were looking for somewhere to eat with good, local food out of the tourist trap areas.

This place is out of the main square but easily walked to. It's a cosy bar and restaurant full of a mix of locals. It's got a cosy, warm and friendly interior.

I think the owner works there and he and all of the staff were so nice and friendly and helpful to all of us.

The spaghetti is their speciality and it was great, really well priced, home made, simple, fresh and delish. The pizzas are also amazing!!!!

Highly recommend the place as a bar or restaurant. I believe they have small events from time to time too :) its not on the map yet so make sure you take time to get OUT of the tourist areas and give this place a go!!!
