Small boutique hotel in the centre of Bruges near to all the attractions. Our room was at the top of the hotel and had exposed beams, stained glass windows and a huge bed and equally huge flat screen TV with loads of channels in every language. The bathroom was especially good with double sinks and a separate bath and shower. The staff were very friendly, but not too obsequious and all spoke perfect English (of course!). We didn't have breakfast at the hotel (it doesn't do dinner, but does have room service), so can't comment on the food, but it is a stone's throw from the main square where there are enough eateries and drinkeries to keep you going. All in all, a great hotel.

Having just returned from a five day/four night trip to Brugges where we stayed at the Hotel Prinsenhof. we consider ourselves fortunate to have stayed at such an exemplary establishment which is family run.

We were greeted by a charming receptionist - and also the family dog - a friendly but unobtrusive little chap called 'Rrruff'!

On entering our lovely room we were most impressed to see the sumptuous bed 'dressed' with an array of lovely cotton, silk and brocade cushions, nice lamps plus overhead ceiling lights operated by dimmer switches to create just the right mood - a large screen television (English channels available), DVD player and a selection of DVDs freely available at Reception. On the writing desk was a personally addressed scroll of welcome bound with a silver ribbon - a lovely touch - also a bowl of sweets.

Super bathroom equipped with a range of expensive toiletries, telephone, hairdryer, cosmetic/shaving mirror and two thick white towelling robes.

Most afternoons we would order tea in the room and this would come with biscuits and chocolate raisins - all served by one of the charming receptionists

We took breakfast in the tastefully decorated breakfast room. All the tables were 'double dressed' with starched white napiery which was changed after every sitting. Our waitress was most attentive and would bring freshly squeezed orange juice as well as tea or coffee. A full English breakfast was available as well as Continental - along with freshly baked 'in house' warm croissants - delicious.

The beds were turned down each night and on our return it would be to find a note wishing us a good night's sleep, along with a weather forecast for the following day - and a chocolate on each pillow.

We booked our trips with Reception and were picked up and delivered back to the hotel each time - no need to walk to a 'joining point.

All in all we had a wonderful few days - due in great part to our good fortune in choosing to stay at this lovely hotel. It was truly memorable and we would not hesitate to go there again.

We stayed at the Prinsenhof for 3 nights at the end of August. Our room was small but really comfortable, with an immaculately clean bathroom. Staff were helpful and the breakfast was very good. The hotel location was also a bonus - close to all the sights and shops, but slightly off the main road so still quiet and not 'touristy'. We would happily stay there again,

We have visited this hotel for the last three years and are happy to report that the standard has remained consistenly high each time. The staff are very attentive without being intrusive and appear happy with their work.
The hotel is decorated and maintained to a high standard but also has a comfortable atmosphere.
We are so satisfied with our choice of hotel that we will be returning again next year.

We stayed for one night in August with children ages 5, 7, 16. The hotel is well located. The rooms were nicely appointed and quite comfortable and very clean. The staff was tremendous. They were warm and welcoming. The breakfast was great, much better than typical European hotel breakfasts (there were eggs!). We will return to beautiful Bruges and will absolutely stay here again.

Excellent quiet location, within a short walk of all the major sights. Spacious room and bathroom with huge flat screen TV with good choice of channels (inc all the main UK ones eg BBC1, ITV), DVD player, bathrobes, full turndown service with chocolates. Very welcoming and professional reception staff who take you to your room and show you how everything works - a refreshing service these days. Great continental breakfast run by a very capable lady - extra cost of Euro 18 for breakfast but well worth it. Remember to take your hotel card when visiting the Bruges museums as it qualifies you for an entry discount!

A very nice hotel, in a quiet street, yet very centrally located in Bruges. All the rooms are individually designed, avoiding that block complex feel and very conveniently it has a car park. Nothing was too much trouble for the very helpful staff and the breakfasts were excellent.
