“Fantastic , Beautiful Hotel”
Reviewed March 8, 2014 via mobile

We visited beautiful Brugges on the wettest coldest weekend possible! The Hotel Prisenhof was so warm cosy and comfortable . (Also smelt gorgeous , was this the scented candles!?)
The staff are delightful and cannot do enough for you.
Our room and bathroom were very comfortable and spotlessly clean.
Breakfast was delicious with every possible choice available including champagne.
I have stayed in very special Hotels all over the World on business but the Intimacy and comfort of the Prisenhof takes a lot if beating for a city break.

Stayed here for 2 nights and wish it had been longer. Service was excellent, super friendly and informative. We were in one of the outside rooms and it was perfect - really quiet. We didn't eat breakfast or have a drink in the bar but only because we wanted to explore other places during our short visit.

The location is great - as Bruges is so small everything is within walking distance - including the station.

We had a late check-out of 3pm which cost €50. Will definitely stay here again when we return to Bruges.

Stayed for a weekend in March 2014. Hotel is well located and on a nice quiet street. We had a deluxe room which was an adequate size, with a nice big bathroom. The hotel itself is well appointed with a nice bar and breakfast room. Breakfast itself was full of options and high quality ingredients. We were late to breakfast on our last day but they were happy to accommodate us. The only thing I would have liked was a kettle in the room to make coffee, but I'm sure they would have done something had i asked for one. If I go back to Bruges I will stay here again.

Room Tip: Ask for a separate bath and shower.

We stayed here for a celebratory weekend, and the staff couldn't do enough for us. They were so friendly! And great with our one-year old niece too. Rooms were comfortable, spacious, clean, and the bathrobes and chocolates were lovely touches. Quiet and slept very well. Centrally located near the markt, shops, restaurants, etc. All an easy walk. The breakfasts were bountiful with something for everyone - including champagne! I would love to stay here again.

Room Tip: Our party stayed in 41, 42, and 43, and all were lovely and well appointed.

The hotel is situated centrally in Bruges which is perfect if you'd rather walk than travel by car/train. The room was upgraded to a delux when me and my partner stayed. The bathroom was spotless and so was the bedroom. The staff were extremely helpful and polite as well. The only issue if you could call it that was the breakfast wasn't overall great (The Boyfriend disliked this very much). Overall though we had a brilliant nights sleep and a lovely time in this hotel.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Prinsenhof for two nights in February and it was fantastic. Beautifully tidy and spacious room, very friendly and helpful staff, and a great location.

Prior to our arrival the hotel organised restaurant reservations for our evening meals, which was very helpful. When we arrived we were given all the information we needed for our stay, including bike hire information, train times and details of walking tours.

I would recommend this hotel for anybody looking for a stress free and relaxing break - would definitely visit again.

This hotel is centrally located and good for seeing central Brugges. The hotel is well decorated and the rooms comfortable and exceptionally clean. We had the access room which was ver good except that if you were permanently in your wheel chair you would struggle to use the sink. A safe provided in the room was located in the top of a wardrobe, ok if you have help with you to use it. Apart from that a well planed room but with a higher price as it is a luxury room. Book in advance direct there are good prices to be had. The breakfast is as good as other reviewers state and you can even have champagne with it included. The owner is hands on and present in the hotel. The staff are attentive and very helpful. Yes the parking is a little steep at 16€ per day but with only around 5 spaces and Brugge being very busy it is a price worth paying. You can if needed find a public car park at some walking distance. Tea and coffee making tray would just finish this hotel off nicely. You never know they may just offer this if we mention it in the reviews. Overall an excellent experience and we would stay here again for its great location, service and breakfast. Maybe they should consider serving food in the evening. Highly rated.
