Owner description: Bruges' City Hall (1376) is one of the oldest in the Low Countries. It is from here that the city has been governed for more than 600 years. An absolute masterpiece is the Gothic Hall, with its late 19th-century murals and polychrome vault. The adjoining historic hall calls up the city council's history with a number of authentic documents and works of art. A multimedia exhibition on the ground floor illustrates the evolution of the Burg Square.

We only saw it from the outside but the building, like many others in Bruges, is beautiful. At night this is beautifully lit giving it a rather magical look.

It is just like all the other town halls in Europe cities. a lot of steps to reach with narrow pats and finally a fantastic view of the beautiful city from height. It's worth seeing.

After a walking into historic center, this building is so beautiful, nice to pictures, and you have some options to recharge new cans of water, beer or soft drinks around, as well a pharmacy.

Didn't go in but it looked great from the outside - fabulous architecture and the first grand building we passed on our way walking into Bruges
