Owner description: Bruges' City Hall (1376) is one of the oldest in the Low Countries. It is from here that the city has been governed for more than 600 years. An absolute masterpiece is the Gothic Hall, with its late 19th-century murals and polychrome vault. The adjoining historic hall calls up the city council's history with a number of authentic documents and works of art. A multimedia exhibition on the ground floor illustrates the evolution of the Burg Square.
Useful Information: Bathroom facilities, Wheelchair access, Stairs / elevator

This only costs a couple of Euro for an adult (1 Euro for seniors) and was a good chance to see some excellent architecture while the weather wasn't so kind. Worth an hour, especially if it's raining

The outside of this building is beautiful, but there is so much more on the inside! It is only 2 euro's to go inside and see the wonderful Gothic Room, the audio narrative gives you so much information. It was a very interesting way to spend an hour.

I really liked the city hall. The outside is gorgeous, but inside it's only 2 euros to go up to the gothic room, which is beautiful. There are audio guides that explain the murals to you, but we had a guidebook that did that so we didn't bother. Also, there is a room with some artifacts and a historic map of the city that most residents have in their homes. It only takes 30 min. of your day at most and is cheap - it was my favorite of all the attractions at burg square.

not sure if you can but the exterior takes the breath away. Wonderful colours and gold leaf everywhere. Town halls in England - eat your hearts out!

Interesting museum well-served by multilingual earphone tour guides. The Gothic Room upstairs is a must-see.
