“Beautiful Bruges”
Reviewed June 23, 2014

We stayed at Hotel Fevery for 3 nights. A Very pleasant stay and Paul is a very pleasant host. I would say it is more a BNB than a Hotel. There is a lift in the hotel which was a blessing for me but there are still a few stairs to negotiate between floors. Breakfast was fresh and adequate and our room and bathroom spotless as is the whole Hotel which is filled with amazing memorabilia. There is a bus stop nearby. My only complaint if I must, is there are no tea/coffee facilities in the rooms or an area for smoking. Would recommend to friends and fellow travellers.

Thank you very much for your kind review. We hope that next time you'll book direct with us as the website booking and expedia are approx 10% more expensive than rates on our own website by using the discount code mentioned on top of this page.
As most Bruges' hotels we don't have coffee and tea in the room but offer this in our lounge are at 1.50 euro from early morning till 10pm. We noticed that the kettles where used for other purposes than boiling water. (warm milk and prepare noodles which caused a big mess). Hope to welcome you again soon. Perhaps for our Greatwarbattlefieldstour..

Great base for short stay in Bruges and spotless hotel at a competitive price.

Ten minute pleasant walk along the canal to the main square and easy connections to train station (bus stop close). Room very cosy, quiet and comfortable. Everything you need and good continental breakfast to get you started.

Paul, the host, very helpful and knowledgeable. Having a familiy owned hotel makes a big difference and this is a tightly run ship.

In summary, for a short trip to Bruges this is a great choice and good value for money.

Room Tip: At the back may be more quiet but not on a busy road.

The Eco Hotel Favery in Brugge was truly a little gem of a B&B. The room was not as small as some I've had, and very sufficient - and very clean. Lots of windows to open for fresh air, a lift to make it easy, a good breakfast, and very helpful hosts. Brugge was a big surprise for me, I loved the town, and the Hotel Favery was part of my great experiences there. This is a top notch place to stay. Just be sure you get a map of the old town, as like all Medieval towns, the streets are narrrow, twisting and not that well marked.

My husband and I were so pleased we could visit Bruges once again and that we could stay at the Hotel Fevery. We have stayed there every few years since 1996 (whenever we get to Belgium) and have always found the accommodation clean and the breakfasts plenty. (If you are there on a Sunday morning, be prepared for some delicious croissants!) Above and beyond this, however, is the cheerful helpfulness of both Paul and Benny. Nothing is ever too much trouble for them to make your stay pleasant. The Fevery is located in a quieter part of Bruges but is only a few minutes walk from the heart of this interesting city.

Lovely hotel situated only a short, pleasant 10min walk from centre of Bruges. Our room was very clean and spacious, with very comfortable bed. Great sleep and good to be woken by the church bells nearby. Meant we didn't miss breakfast! Adequate breakfast set us up for the day. Staff were friendly and helpful, directing us to places of interest. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would return there if we were ever to visit Bruges again.

In comparison to the top 5 hotels in Brugges as currently ranked on Tripadvisor I am extremely satisfied with my 1 night stay at Hotel Fevery. The room was cozy & very clean. The breakfast was satisfying and tasty. I didn't get to interact with Paul much and as such can not comment on the hospitality others have written about but I can say that upon check-in Paul did provide us with a list of interesting things to see during our short time in this lovely town as well as good restaurant suggestions. I'd definitely recommend this hotel to friends & family.
