Brugge is a VERY popular tourist destination and we enjoyed staying a bit off the beaten track. Although it was cold and windy during our visit, we found the 10-15 minute walk into the city centre perfectly manageable. The hotel is very comfortable and staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ample and nicely served - freshly squeezed orange juice was a real treat! Our room - 23 - had large windows and a canal view, but was fairly small. I'd ask about garden view rooms next time, as the garden looked lovely

Of all the three star hotels we've been in, this is by far the best. To be honest, we've been in 4 star hotels that could not match Ter Duinen. Very friendly staff who speak their languages, the rooms are spotless and cozy, the location itself is great and only a 10 minute walk from the center of Brugge - and the breakfast... we've never had that kind of service for breakfast. No lining up for bread or drinks, they bring it to your spot.
The garage we rented for our stay was an actual garage, not just a parking spot. The car was
locked up and safe. If we ever return to Brugge, we'll definitely go back here, we've had a delightful stay.

We have just returned from a 2 night stay at the hotel & our first trip to Bruges. The hotel was spotlessly clean & the owners are very friendly & attentative. Whilst it is 10-15 mins walk to the centre of Bruges the hotel is in a lovely tranquil position. Breakfast was served in the lovely dining room with a large selection of bread& jams, fresh fruit, cereal, yoghurts, cheese & ham & boiled eggs cooked to your liking. The only slight gripe is the cost of car parking on top of what you pay for the room but you do get your own garage with a locking door.We will hopefully return one day when the weather is warmer.

We stayed one night while passing through Bruges. Great location & outstanding service as others have noted. All of the staff are very helpful, they and the owners go out of their way to ensure your stay in the hotel, and Bruges generally, is a good one. Breakfast was great also. Highly recommended.

We stayed in the hotel for one night on our way back to the UK. It is only 1 hour from Bruges to the euro tunnel terminal at Calais, so it made a very convenient stop over with a chance to explore the delights of Bruges. Ter Duinen is a very comfortable and friendly family run hotel with a quiet canal side location and easy walking distance to the town centre. The rooms were nicely appointed and the breakfast was lovely. There is secure parking available if requested.
We would certainly stay there again.
