This hotel was fantastic, clean and new, great service, great location and even had a great happy hour. We booked through a hotels website and this hotel was definitely value for money. We left feeling refreshed and clean.
Will not disappoint!

We selected this hotel after viewing the website and were not disappointed.
The staff were friendly and efficient on the telephone and face to face.
They gave excellent directions.
The hotel is modern and appears to have been recently decorated.
Our room was spacious with a clean and bright bathroom, the breakfast room was large and the bar and reception areas comfortable.
There was a great deal of choice for breakfast, apart from there being no toast, and the comfort of secure underground parking, albeit at 20 euros a night, was worth every penny.
The hotel is just a few yards from the main square, which is good after a long day's walking.
It is also not far from Ypres, Tyne Cot and other First World War sites.
The only criticism we had, apart from the lack of toast, was that there were no tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms.
We would definitely recommend this hotel and will be returning.

Stayed in the hotel for 2 nights. Was great location and fantastic rooms. We had 3 rooms. 2 very good sized rooms, and one that was smaller but was an attic room with character, it also had a fantastic view towards the market square, with a small balcony. Breakfast was great, wasn’t the cheapest breakfast I have ever had at €15, however there was plenty of choice and was very good quality. My only problem was trying to find the hotel, the directions off websites were either wrong or impossible to follow, eventually got directions from a local and then stumbled across the hotel car park.

We booked a weekend away with SeaFrance, which included three nights B&B in this hotel. Some of the reviews were good whilst some were mediocre, almost bordering on bad. I have no idea why.
This hotel is in the perfect position in Brugge, just behind the main market square and the Belfry tower. Easy to find, you are within minutes of all the main tourist attractions and restaurants. The hotel itself is quite modern, with a very clean, efficient feel about it. The reception staff were some of the most helpful I have ever come across, with excellent English and nothing being too much bother. They would go out of their way to explain where you could go to save money, how to book train tickets, etc. Just excellent.
The rooms are a bit small, but the quality of the furnishings is also excellent. The bed was the largest we have seen outside of America; very comfortable, with a padded headrest for sitting up comfortably in bed. Flatscreen TV, with BBC1, BBC2 and ITV all available, plus several European channels - some showing English films. No problem there.
The bathroom was again very good, our only niggle was that there wasn't a bath, just a shower. But that was our choice, they offered to swop us to a room with a bath but then we would have been given twin beds. We opted for the comfortable double bed and a shower.
The double glazing prevented all the noise coming in (cars and cobbled streets don't mix!) and we had 3 x excellent nights sleep. Then down to Breakfast...
This was (sorry to keep using the same word) excellent! A great range of freshly cooked croissants / cheeses / meats / yoghurts / cereals, plus bread and unlimited coffee / tea. Plus a hot menu including bacon, eggs, sausages and baked beans. Very good breakfast in a great dining room - no complaints at all.
Finally, we enjoyed the 'happy hour' in the evening, between 20:00 - 21:00. Two glasses of white wine for €3.00! Nice bar, good service. Everyone agreed that this was a stunning hotel.
I would recommend this whole heartedly, the position, quality of the rooms and the excellent breakfast added to the enjoyment of our holiday.

Stayed here just for the one night in the middle of Feb.

The hotel is in a good location, so you can just walk to main attractions and good bars/restaurants etc. You dont really want to be driving a lot as it is a bustling, busy kind of place.

We parked in the hotels underground car park - for which they charge 20EUR per night (not cheap).

The rooms are spread across quite a wide location in a range of inter-connected buildings (a bit of a rabbits warren). The twin room we had was very small and quite dark - although clean enough. It also backed onto quite a busy (but small) road. This was quite noisy through the night with traffic and revellers. Best to ask for another location if possible.

All in all a pleasant enough stopover but I would probably seek out an alternative when we return. The town itself is very attractive with excellent quality shopping and good atmospheric bars. The local Groeninge Museum is also well worth a visit.
