Stayed here for a long weekend. A modest but clean and well maintained hotel. The room was basic and clean, with probably the most powerful shower in Europe! The reception staff are excellent and very friendly. They speak English and are very helpful. Used the bar (manned by a cheerful and efficient barman) but dined out so cannot comment on the restaurant.

The location of the hotel is perfect for sightseeing and is a very short walk from the square, where you are spoilt for choice for bars and restaurants.

The only minor grumble is the car parking charge of 25 euros per night, which we felt was excessive. Having said that, it is more convenient than parking away from the hotel.

We intend to revisit Bruges as it is a beautiful city and will definitely stay at Martin's again.

Room Tip: Stayed on the first floor - nice and quiet.

The hotel is right in the centre of town and close to the main tourist attractions. We stayed for 4 nights and breakfast was included in the price. Our room was quite small, but the bathroom was a good size and had all the facilities expected. The hotel was spotlessly clean throughout and very well managed. The staff were helpful and friendly and the bar had a good atmosphere and ideal for a nightcap before turning in. We would stay there again.

The location of this hotel is ideal for seeing all that Brugge has to offer - good for the tourist spots in the day and for restaurants at night. It is in walking distance of the station (c20 mins) or the number 12 bus takes you from there to the end of the road. We booked for B&B inclusive and for the all-in city price no-one had any complaints - a big buffet with all the usual fare...The rooms are a bit dark - not just ours but all of them, but with everything you might need really, including a fridge and a safe. There is a pleasant comfortable busy bar, which will serve tea or coffee as well as drinks.

This Hotel was chosen by us because it was so central to all the tourist attractions. The Hotel was very modern and the rooms although quite small were very clean and well equipped. The staff were all very pleasant and willing to help with our queries on how to get to various places. We always ate out so I can't pass judgement on the food but the dining room looked very welcoming. Bruges itself is beautiful and easy to get around. I would recommend it for all age groups. We went as a small family group and all were very impressed with it.

Room Tip: We asked for a room with walk in shower and were given a room on the ground floor which was perfect.

As others have said the location is perfect! The room we had (718) was in the new part. It was v quiet and modern. However it was a very small room! There was a fridge though and a safe. Reception team all v helpful. Breakfast was too expensive (we just like a small breakfast) for us but looked quite popular for others. Overall a great choice for a short break.

The hotel is perfect for getting around to see all that Bruges has on offer. Hotel right in the centre at the rear of The Belfrey so you always have a landmark to find your way back. Breakfast a bit expensive but some good places to eat around the square. The Olive Tree is a must to eat at least once during your visit. Plenty of bars to sample the vast choice of beers on offer. I would like to go back later in the year to see what the Christmas Markets are like. I would recommend this city break and this hotel to anyone wanting 2 or 3 days away to chill out and just wander around the lovely city

Room Tip: Rooms at the rear of the hotel has less road noise

Came with car with my friends to have a short rest , there is parking from the hotel , but you have to pay £25 a night even you are guest of the hotel.
Went to the bar to ask bottle opener , the guy asked me to help h clear the table ?even he said sorry it's joke, I don't think that joke is suit for the guest .
