We ate at the De Florentijnen while on a weekend break in Bruges Feb 2012. This restaurant was recommended by our hotel (and for very good reason). The service was very professional and English was not a problem. They provide a trio of small appetizers for free and they were exceptionally good and well presented. I ordered the risotto with scallops and was not disappointed - both were cooked perfectly. My husband was equally happy with his grilled sole. We ordered the "ggoey brownie" for dessert and it was fantastic. It is not like a traditional American brownie but was instead a molten chocolate cake with rich flowing decadet chocolate spilling out on the first bite. Overall, great high end restuarant!
