“Fantastic - highly recommended for a great, affordable breakfast!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 13, 2014

We were in Brugge for 2 days and unfortunately the breakfast in our hotel was rather costly. We decided to walk around the city center for a cheaper alternative, and stumbled upon this lovely restaurant just off the main market square. We ordered the small breakfast for EUR 7, which was excellent. A nice assortment of bread and sweets with a generous serving of coffee. The terrace was very nice and the staff attentive and helpful. You can't ask for more and I highly recommend checking Servaas van Mullem for a breakfast or afternoon coffee. You will be glad you did.

“Just what I wanted”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 8, 2014 via mobile

While I can get a passable chocolate croissant in the US, I couldn't wait to have a true pain au chocolat while on vacation. This patisserie surpassed my expectations and I would happily return for more tomorrow. Tried four different pastries while enjoying a cup of tea and the free WiFi. What a way to start the morning!

“Stale pastries”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 29, 2014 via mobile

Bought an assortment of pastries here. all of them stale to varying degrees of age. Apparently there is an eat in fee that they don't tell you about until it comes time to pay.

“hidden prices”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 14, 2014

I visited this Patisserie twice; once i took a to-go "eclair" , and the second time i had coffee and sweets there with 4 persons. There was a porice difference : all cookies were stated with a to-go price , while offered for a higgher price if you stay and eat them there (i guess that is kind of a rent for sitting 15 min at your table?
Eclair : to-go 2.50 E, eat-in 3.50 E . same for macarons to-go 1.10 E, eat-in 1.50 E.
the prices are in principle not high but i don't understand the difference with staying in; because if the clients sits at the table and eats, it gives me the impression i would b=make a larger consumption (+drinks etc). The second unpleasant thing was hiding of the prices (i was not aware until i saw them on the bill) . so overall a dissapointing impression about this patisserie! Unhappy clients which will not come back.

“Lovely cafe with nice cakes”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 13, 2014 via mobile

We ordered latte and cakes. There were so many choices and I just want to taste them all. I have the berry one with mazipan round it and it was quite light and refreshing inside.
