The food is set up very nicely on the plate but the taste is not there. Somehow it is so wertern adapted that is just tasteless and plus too expensive.
But the restaurant it self is very nice.

Went there since we received a voucher of CADEAUBOX and there were only 2 restaurants in Bruges on the list. First tried to make a reservation at RYAD (Moroccan/Indian cuisine) but this turned out to be rather troublesome: the owner gave us the impression he did not want to receive us on the night we chose, and wanted us to come on another date! We know northafrican people like to negotiate on prices, but to do so regarding a date seemed rather strange to us.
So we (mum and 16 year old daughter) decided to go to Narai Thai in Bruges. The website promised us a very nice interior design, but the various comments from previous guests made us think: "well, let's go and see and make the best of it.".
Maybe it depends on the staff at work on one or another day, but for us, it turned out to be a true success!. The reservation by phone was promptly accepted, we got our table as soon as we came in, most of the waitresses were very kind (only one seemed to have a bit of a bad day). The food was delicious (only two of the six various kebab sticks which I had for a starter, were a bit too well done, so rather dried out. But with the sauces it was still rather tasty). My daughter had the fried prawns and those were really well fried.
As a main course we both had a different kind of fish and it was nicely served on special dishes. All of the plates were very nice for that matter and we even got a warmed up plate to eat from and the dishes were put on a kind of table-heater in front of us, so the food remained warm till the moment we would eat it. The waitress came to see wether she could serve us some additional rice or wine from time to time. The dessert's were very tasty, the fruit salad really made from fresh fruits!. We had a free appetizer-bite to start with and the tea was served with some bisquits and chocolates. We did not have to wait too long for each dish, although there were plenty of guests in the restaurant. And they did not want us to leave quickly to make room for more guests. One good advice: if you are not used to spicey food, watch out for the indication "1 or 2 pimenti' next to the description of the dish on the menu. It is explained on the first page of the menu that 1 pimenti is mildly spicey and 2 is strongly spicey, and this is really true. 1 pimenti was more than spicey enough for us. So, we were really happy to have spent a wonderful evening and promised each other to go there again on one or the other occasion.

I really liked the restaurant. I''ve gone to a lot of thai restaurants and this is one of the better thai. When we got a starter from the house i knew we where going to have a nice lunch. The soup with shrimp and coconutmilk was very tasty and the ingredients they use are good of quality. The beef with red curry and the laab kai where good. The prices are a little bit more than usual but you don't go home having hunger.
The restaurant is beautiful decorated with plants, asian arts and the toilets are very clean ( very important!) and modern.

We went for lunch asking for a table for 2 when in really bad, english, belgium, dutch still dont know which language they did not give us a table even though the official opening times were still valid. (We came in about an hour before closing).

Incredibly bad service, rude and embarassing trying to show somebody from the abroad the nice city of Brugge. Not for the food but for the service I would recommend in not going there.

This restaurant offers no typical tourist 3 course menu as You could expect in Bruges but real authentic dishes. Only for people with a trained pallatum, because even the 1 chili quoted dishes appeared to Be pretty spicy. The decor is a rather corny. So you might as well ask to be seaten next to the pond where the white shark and the join your dinner. To Be recommended!!!
