The hotel is well-placed for the centre of Bruges and for the railway station (which we used several times during our stay). Room was spacious, clean and quiet, with a good view over rooftops. The breakfast area got fairly congested at times, though this is only a minor criticism. Overall, good value in a city with expensive hotels.

We have just stayed in the Novotel Brugge Centrum. This proved to be an ideal base for discovering the delights of the city. It was quite easy to find and has a public car park immediately under the hotel which costs a very reasonable 8.8 euros per 24 hours.

The hotel is just outside the very centre of the city being about 800 metres from the Markt Square and the main sights. It is also quite close to a very pretty area of the city with parks and lakes.

The hotel is quite modern. The rooms are reasonably big with a good sized bathroom and shower, and a separate toilet. The breakfast is excellent with a good choice of hot and cold food at about 11 euros per morning. We did not eat dinner in the hotel as there are dozens of restaurants within a short walk of the hotel, but the menu looked ok.

The hotel staff were all very friendly and all spoke English.

There is also a good outdoor swimming pool and a garden to sit in should the weather be good enough. All in all a good hotel in a lovely city and one that I would recommend.

Spent one night here whilst visiting Brugge with a friend. The hotel was very easy to find and the parking next door is good at 8€70 for a 24hr stay.

The staff in the hotel were very helpful and spoke a variety of different languages which made life easier. Check in was quick and easy and we were directed towards the room we had booked. If this was a review of the staff then it would get a higher rating.

The room itself was a reasonable size, but not spacious. This was partly because we had the sofa bed made up which meant the size of the room was reduced. In the room was a small fridge and a safe. The fridge was no colder than the room itself and seemed largely pointless. The tea and coffee provided only had one of each type of tea bag along with one sachet of coffee and one of decaffeinated coffee. This seemed a little strange.

Overall I don't believe this hotel was worth any more money than the Ibis over the road - both hotels are part of the Accor Group however prior to the trip I would have expected the Novotel to be better quality, which in this case I don't believe it was.

It's not far to walk into town (about 10 mins at most) and there is a small Carrefour supermarket located just over the road.
