During my recent stay in Brugge, the NH was one of the more pleasant experiences.
Service was friendly and competent. Location is ideal, only 3 mins walking distance from a big public underground garage (ca. 9€ a day)

BEWARE:
We had a internet discount room (95€), and we were slightly disturbed by early construction noise taking place from 8am onwards (wing is probably under renovation, hence the discount).
BUT the room was nice: cute décor (aesthetic wallpapers), well-equipped (complimentary espresso machine!) and tidy. The bed was comfy.
Minus: the air-conditioning is sorta noisy, if you want to open the windows you only hear the noise of all the floor's extracted air blowing. The bathroom tiles need renovation (once again hence the discount). If you need flat screens, they didn't have it. TV choice also a little disappointing (barely English channels, no German channels, only French and Dutch)

Overall: cannot complain for the rate, it was good. I wouldn't stay here though for 200€ or more, which was their regular price.

We visited Brugges last week and booked as part of a Eurostar package. The hotel was conveniently located on a quiet street. Check-in was painless and the staff was quite attentive and helpful.

The room was very tastefully decorated, quite, and comfortable. Unfortunately, they had two single beds pushed together and they would not stay put! I didn't sleep exceptionally well for fear of ending up down the crack. The room wasn't as clean as it should be, with some black spots in the shower and dust apparent on the walls.

All in all, a good value for what we paid but would have appreciated a bit of extra care in the cleaning standards.

The NH in Brugge is a warm and comfortable place that is in theme with the rest of the city. While not the most upscale facility, it is nonetheless graceful and charming and the hotel staff is very accommodating. It is only a few minutes walking distance from the historic city square, but actually, if you start walking in any direction from the hotel you will feel that you have stepped back in time. The breakfast was very good, with an excellent variety of items, especially the selection of breads and cheeses. The rooms were clean, fairly spacious, and in keeping with period décor, except for the nicely modernized bathrooms. We fell in love with Brugge, and this hotel did nothing to impede the love affair.

Were fantastic at accommodating me and my partner when Hotel Jacobs had over booked and turfed us out on a bank holiday weekend in Bruges.

Had a lovely large room with great views. Breakfast was lovely. The staff were extremely helpful and offered to stay our luggage the day we were checking out so that we could explore the city.

I was impressed with the little details that they paid attention to such as miniatures in the bathrooms including toothbrushes, razors etc.

I would definitely recommend this place and would return.

The hotel is located in a corner in front of the Bus Station and an amusement park (I don't know if the park is permanent or is seasonal).- By this reasons the location is not good, but as the historic part of Brugge is not very big you can reach by walk all the beautiful corners of this nice city.- As it was in another NH hotels, the girl in the frontdesk is in charge to lift off the luggage and take it to your room.- Our luggage was very heavy and I cannot allow that a girl had to do so rude job, so being an old man I have to carry the luggage for myself.- The roorms were poor and not very clean.- The relation prize/quality is worst than terrible.- The furniture is old and cheap.- It is exactly the opposite of a comfortable hotel.- There are a lot of better hotels in the city.-
