“Perfect place to relax & enjoy Bruges”
Reviewed April 20, 2012 for a stay in April 2012

Just got back from 4 days in Bruges with our 16 year old son. Picked out 'The Red House'" from holidaylettings.com Really glad we picked this one. Fantastic quiet location tucked away in one of Bruges many cobbled streets (got lost walking back a few times!)
From the moment we walked in the front door we felt at home & comfortable. Well equipped kitchen including dishwasher - comfy living room with lots of DVD's to watch. Very romantic loft bedroom with views out the large velux across the rooftops to church steeples & windmills.
The owner provided a garage in secure lock up just in the next street at a small extra charge - which was worth the money for the convenience. Also provided were some bikes; which although basic gave us heaps of fun & a great way of exploring Bruges.
There is so much to see & do in Bruges & we need a return trip to fit in more of what we did not manage this time; and no question - The Red House will be the place we would like to stay. Thank you for providing such a great service & use of your lovely home

“Small but pretty and well thought-out house in beautiful Bruges”
Reviewed April 19, 2012 for a stay in April 2012

We traveled with our teenage son and our mums, who are 77 and 81. The house was in a quiet area, just a 10-minute stroll to central Bruges. The stairs to the first floor were a little steep for our mums, and they never came up to our pretty attic bedroom, which was up a staircase so steep it was more a ladder! But the house was spotlessly clean, modern and well designed with everything we could need for a relaxing break - including that all-important dishwasher, a table big enough for all five of us to eat and play cards around, and In Bruges on DVD. The garage just round the corner was fantastic, too, and very convenient.

“Excellent house with fab location”
Reviewed February 24, 2012 for a stay in February 2012

This was a great find after reading the reviews. They were just as stated clean and comfortable house in a good location only 5 minutes for the centre. It was our first trip to Brugges for my husbands 40th and we had a great time. The beers and chocolate a plenty and plenty to see and do. Would recommend this house and city as a must do and we will be back at some stage to do it all again.

“Another excellent stay at The Red House”

This is our second visit to The Red House and once again we could not fault the accommodation. It is within easy walking distance of all of the main tourist attractions but in a quiet street that does not feel touristy at all. We have found Bruges to be a very beautiful, friendly and safe city and our friends who were staying in another area walked back relatively late each evening and felt completely at ease in the quiet streets. The house is well equipped, warm, clean and extremely comfortable, we love it. Richard, the owner is very helpful and making a booking is easy. There is lots to see and do in Bruges and we can also recommend walking or cycling to Damme and a train trip to Ghent.

“If you are going to Bruges - you have to stay here!”

What a find - a perfect little house within easy walking distance of the main square. Bijou, very well appointed, quiet (except for the church bells at 07.00!!) and homely. For a rental, the house was really very well equipped with new, clean and attractive contents - dishwasher, good shower, comfy beds and all you need to make your stay great. I would add though that the stairs to the top floor are a challenge, especially when going down to the loo in the middle of the night!!
