“Great food, great atmosphere”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 19, 2013 via mobile

The amount of food you get here for your money is great!! We had a 2 course meal and couldn't stretch to a third as the main was massive! Unusual for a Michelin starred restaurant.
It is just off the Markt square so the location is perfect and very romantic.

You need to book in advance though as places in Bruges seem to book up quickly!

“A real peach”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 17, 2013

An outstanding French brasserie in the heart of Bruges. The Valentines set menu was fantastic. The place was buzzing. The staff were helpful and the food was spectacular. Couldn't fault it and it wasn't silly money either.

“Food outstanding...from the presentation to the taste”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 17, 2013 via mobile

Ate here on Valentines evening. We'd chosen the place because of the reviews on TripAdvisor and because ofthe menu. The standard menu wasn't available because of Valentines Day and we were a bit put out that we had to eat what they wanted us to eat and not what we wanted to chose. The chef got it right for every course on the set menu..the food was superb the presentation was Michelin standard. Well done Raymond. I would ear there even if there was only one choice

“Real brasserie.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 13, 2013 via mobile

When you stand on the street the restaurant seems quit average. Wrong!!
When you enter you'll be welcomed by a friendly and proffessional staff.
The atmosphere is perfect. Real Brasserie.
The food is honest. We ate the lamb (Photo) and our friends had the Cote a l'os.
Perfectst baked. Right origin. Good sidedishes.
For dessert we had the crème brullee and a cup of good coffee with a Calvados.
A real must-do.

“A fine recommendation”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 11, 2013

We asked a couple that we met at lunch at Malesherbes where we should go for dinner and they suggested Brasserie Raymond; we were glad that they had as we enjoyed our evening there. It is a busy, bustling restaurant with an extremely warm and comfortable atmosphere. We ate well, the bouillabaisse was properly made with plenty of fish, mussels, clams and even a langoustine in it, whilst I enjoyed my veal kidneys in a mustard sauce; starters were equally good, a sort of lobster stew for me, one of the specials of the day, whilst Penny had a generous portion of langoustines grilled with garlic and herb butter. Somewhere that we would definitely return to, though not a cheap experience.
