Just come back from a stag do in Bruges and we all stayed here for the night. We were looking for a cheap place to stay with a good location and we were very happy with this hotel. It is right next to the centrum station and a few shops for essentials. The city centre is not far away at all, in a minibus it cost a total of 8 Euros so not expensive to get there either.

The rooms were fine - great for just sleeping in (or passing out). The rooms we stayed in looked out onto the rail lines but this didn't bother us. We had three to a room so there was a double bed and a bunk bed over the top. The room offers little privacy with the shower and its barely frosted glass haha so bare that in mind if you're bothered.

Overall, you get what you pay for, hence the name Budget! Helpful staff, clean rooms and a perfect location for everyone wanting to visit the city!

Hotel was easy to find - I looked out for the Etap signs as directed by another reviewer. Check in was easy and quick and the receptionist was very friendly and gave us a free map. Room is quite small but we didn't spend too much time in it anyway. Very interesting layout - lots of mirrors, shower cubicle in the room but doesn't steam up the room. very good power shower with lots of space and a soap dispenser. Toilet is practically in a cupboard with a door that doesn't lock/pull shut, so I don't think the room is very practical for friends - unless you know each other very very well!!
Bed a bit on the hard side but not worth complaining about, and only given one pillow each but they were happy to provide extras if you asked at reception. I borrowed a hair dryer for 10 euro deposit. You can adjust the AC in the room which is good, though it did get very hot at night time even with the AC on cold. You can turn the lights on and off from your bed which is great - though the buttons are illuminated which is slightly annoying as the room is never totally dark - we ended up covering our light buttons with the map they gave us!
Good location, two minutes from the station and a carrefour supermarket, and a 15 min walk into the centre.
I don't know if it was the time of year we went (Feb) but everything seemed to close early - there were a few restaurants right by the hotel but never seemed to be open, and one night we had a late one and went to get some dinner from a restaurant (all of which seemed to be very expensive with mains 20euros and up) but all the kitchens we tried were closed - this was only 9pm!!! so instead we found a kebab shop and had kebabs :)
Bruges is lovely but very small and I wouldn't have wanted to stay longer than 3 days.

While the ibis budget Brugge Centrum Station isn't the largest or most luxurious hotel I've ever stayed in it probably represents the best value for money. The staff were polite, friendly and very helpful, supplying us with a map of Bruges on arrival - which is only a small thing but made a huge difference to trip.

The hotel has a good location right by the railway station and just a short and pleasant walk into the centre of the city. The room was on the small side but well laid out and had all the amenities we needed except tea and coffee making facilities but hot and cold drinks were available in the lobby. The free wifi available in the room was also very reliable and maintained fast connection speeds throughout our stay.

Overall the hotel is an excellent place to stay for the budget conscious traveller who wants to spend more time exploring the city than sitting in their hotel room.
