Stayed in the Indian Summer Apartments with my Husband, Daughter and Son-in-Law for the weekend and wished we had booked for longer! Ideally located for the Main Square (2 min walk) shopping, restaurants etc. Bakers and small supermarket close by. The apartment had 2 separate bedrooms, one en-suite, lounge/kitchen/diner and a separate shower/toilet. All kitchen utensils, crockery, cutlery etc are supplied. There is a dishwasher too!! There was a large flat screen tv, DVD player and iPod decking station.
Only one point that we think could be improved on is that a 'starter pack' could of been provided containing things like milk, tea, coffee, sugar, condiments etc!!! We will be staying again and will think a bit more about bringing those essentials with us!

We have been coming to Brugge at least once a year for 25 years and stayed in many different hotels and this was a real find - spacious, stylish and in a very good position. We will certainly stay here again

We stayed in the “Monsoon” apartment as part of a self-selected mini-break in Bruges. The apartment is spacious and stylish. To give you an idea, the larger bedroom must be about the size of a double garage! There are various nice pieces of old and reproduction furniture which seem just about right for the atmosphere of high ceilings (must be around the 12 foot mark) and period features such as cornices etc. All the renovation had been completed to a very high standard.

Although the apartment sleeps four, they would have to get on with each other pretty well. This is because there is only one shower room and that is en suite to the larger bedroom (which also has a fashionable roll top bath positioned at a jaunty angle in one corner). The smaller bedroom only has a washbasin. There is a separate WC in a sort of cloakroom.

Furnishings and kitchen equipment are comprehensive and to a high standard, but there is no English channel on TV. There are few ornaments which makes the atmosphere feel a bit stark.

The location is very convenient for the Markt - just a few minutes walk away. The suggested underground parking in Nicklaas Desparsstraat is not far away on foot, but quite a long drive as there are many one-way streets in Bruges - we parked our car and left it for the duration of our stay, traveling on foot or by boat instead.

Booking the accommodation and arriving/departing is somewhat impersonal, but the key box in the “reception” (hallway) actually works quite well.

We would not hesitate to recommend House of Seasons as an up-market place to stay, and I don’t think a couple (plus kids) would be disappointed with Monsoon, but next time we might try one of the other apartments just out of curiosity!

Room Tip: Monsoon overlooked the Sint-Jansplein square but still not very noisy.

Well appointed apartment in the heart of Bruges, minutes from the main squares. Very clean, good sized rooms.
It is opposite a night club which was a bit noisy on Saturday night so either bring some earplugs or join in!
Bruges is a lovely city which we have visited many times and never tire of.

We loved the location -- central to everything but a little off the beaten path! Our apartment was clean and beautifully appointed. I would caution anyone who rents an apartment with a loft/attic bedroom that the ceilings are very low in those rooms. We enjoyed every possible convenience beginning with the reservation process right up to the moment we checked out. I would recommend these apartments to families who would like to feel at home while on vacation. Bruges itself is a gorgeous, friendly city. Of course, you would have to be crazy not to like a place that's home to chocolate, fries, and waffles!

I stayed here in April with three girlfriends. The apartments look stunning and to be fair, we were the first people to stay in these newly refurbished apartments which are situated just around the corner from the original apartments - which may indeed be worth a visit!
The central location is superb; you are within easy walking distance of all attractions - but Bruges is not large anyway. Car parking can be obtained with the rental at an additional cost and I would recommend taking this option - cars in Bruges are a liability.
The apartment itself was beautiful, but simply not quite finished! The entrance hall was being decorated and the front door still wet; bog in of pipework was clearly ongoing.
The master bedroom had no hanging rail in the wardrobe - nor indeed anywhere. We were provided with a flimsy Ikea type of rail for our stay which fell over. There were no drawers whatsoever and no dressing table or mirror in this bedroom - simply nowhere to put anything. Indeed the two ladies using this room simply dressed from their cases!
The two double bedrooms did not have a mirror between them although it may be that mirrors have now been installed; the lovely bathroom with walk in shower had no hooks, nowhere to hang towels - we all used the coat stand from the hall which we relocated to the bathroom!
I would give the apartments another visit, as I suspect when finished they will be stunning but our stay, whilst wonderful in this beautiful city, was marred slightly by the lack of facilities.

Stayed in "Long lazy Summer" apartment late December 2011 with family of 4 (2 teens). Great location central to all Bruges has to offer. The apartment was very spacious and well equipped. beds were very comfortable and the apartment was quiet considering it's location. The booking process was simple and we were given a code to enter on arrival, when we then collected a key for the apartment. There was plenty of local information provided in a folder in the apartment.
Bruges is wonderful and this apartment is a great base to explore from.
