What a great time! We soared over the historical Brugge Center and then through the beautiful countryside. The pilots and staff were knowledgable and very friendly. It's a little pricey, but well worth it.

My friend and I booked our flight and were really looking forward to it. We almost didn't make it because it was a bit windy, but the wind finally stopped and we took off. We were able to fly over Bruges, and also other small towns and farms. There were moments when we were really high up, and others in which we could almost touch the leaves on the treetops. I was a great way to look at the world from another perspective.

My partner and I originally wanted to attend a sunset flight but had to move to a morning flight due to inclement weather. The Bruges Ballooning staff picked us up from our hotel and were very friendly, funny, and welcoming. There were 5 people total on our flight, plus a pilot, and there was plenty of room to take photos. We had great weather and were able to fly, not only over Brugge, but also over other small towns, farms, and into Holland. It can get chilly up there so bring layers. We had fun helping set the balloon up and pack it up again. The champagne and pastries at the end were a nice opportunity to get to know the staff and other members of our flight. One weird thing was the pilot did this bizarre trick on us where he poured champagne on our heads... didn't really understand why. There are no bathrooms so make sure you go ahead of time. It was a very expensive attraction - by far the most expensive thing we did on our trip. Not sure if it's worth quite as much as we paid but overall, it was very fun and a great experience.

We had booked our ride months ago for an evening trip, but the weather delayed us and we went the following morning. Mother nature calls the shots! This was our second experience ballooning, but to be honest I wasn't prepared to really participate with the setup and breakdown of the equipment. That said, we were one of two groups that took off and it was lovely seeing the Bruge area from above. We were a little disappointed as we watched our companion balloon hover over the city, we didn't get that close - but still enjoyed the ride. I do understand there is just so much time and room in the sky. Please do be warned...wear jeans and old sneakers -.you can land anywhere and we ended up in the middle of a cut hay field, which was pretty nasty. Everyone should experience it!
