“Beautiful city”
Reviewed September 2, 2013

We have just spent 3 days here and loved it. We arrived on a thursday, by saturday it was very busy!! It really is a beautiful city. Lovely buildings, canal trip was great, yummy chocolate, great beer!! A city card is good if you plan to visit lots of places, good value for money. You can walk everywhere too. Well kept city and very clean. The only slight thing was some shops gave you excellent service and some did not! we were wrongly over charged 3 times while here so be aware! Also avoid the markt square restaurants, very expensive, the one we ate in had avarage food and staff were not friendly. That said The restaurants in the streets off the markt are lovely, as was the fries stall! We would recommend anyone to come here though, you will not be dissapointed, we hope to return.

“Can't take a bad photo!”
Reviewed September 2, 2013

Probably one of the most photogenic towns I've ever visited. Breathtakingly beautiful, full of history, charm, chocolate shops, and....TOURISTS! (Guilty as charged). I've been here twice in the summer and would love to visit on day in the off season (if there is one).

“A few days In Bruges”

The town is so compact with breathtaking views around every corner. Take a canal boat trip to get up close and personal with the history of the place and I would also recommend the horse and carriage ride.

“Bruges, Belgium”
Reviewed September 2, 2013

What a magical place! One can sit for hours in the Grote Markt (main square) just observing the architecture and the people. The small streets are delightful for strolling and the chocolate stores are delicious even from the window! Our b and b was right on a canal on a tiny, quiet street, just minutes from the main square and all the centers of activity - museums, churches, restaurants, etc. We would go back in a heartbeat.
