This day long tour was the best tour we've been on. Nathan was informative and very passionate about the sights he takes you to. The group size is maximum 8 and he tailors the trip to the people attending. We are Canadians joined by couples from the UK and Austrailia. We never knew there was a monument to Canada called Vancouver corner. We feel very honoured to have visited and able to sign the guest book. If you're at all interested in history this is the tour for you. Many thanks to Nathan!

Nathan was an extremely knowledgeable and personable guide. We saw and learned so very much this day. All along he made sure we were enjoying our day while seeing things we had only read about. He know about little out-of-the-way places and historical sites that I know are not on other tours. This is the BEST!

This tour was the highlight of our weekend in Bruges. We saw a huge range of sights (not just cemeteries and monuments) and learnt a lot about WW1. Definitely recommend this tour - money well spent.

One of the best tours I have ever taken, anywhere. Nathan only takes very small groups, so you get to see a lot and have a lot of interaction with someone who is clearly a local expert on a vast and complex area. He threads his way through the various sectors of the West Flanders battlefields with skill and sensitivity. From visits (at your own pace) to major museums, to stopping at the side of the road to examine (just) excavated shells, Nathan gives a real window into the experiences of the soldiers of WWI. Real history, explained and illustrated by a real expert. If you are interested in WWI, this is a fantastic tour.

Nathan is a walking history book on WW1 in the Flanders battlefields. What makes this tour work is his passion and personal knowledge of the area. He was able to relate through stories and bring you back to those horrific times. Because we were American, Canadian and British on the tour he chose memorials for each country so that everyone felt connected to the tour. I highly recommend it.
