Busy pub/restaurant, best t book in advance. good menu, good food and a huge selection of beer with a detailed beer menu. Much better standard of food than on the Grote Markt round the corner

“Energetic, lively Pub With Great Food!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 29, 2014

Our group of four arrived during a World Cup match and thankfully we had made a prior reservation for 6:30pm otherwise we would have been out of luck finding a spot until 9:30pm. Despite the busy atmosphere the service was very friendly and efficient. With over 400 beers available making a choice proved to be somewhat challenging. Between our group we tried both the Flemish Beef Stew and the Rabbit. All dishes were excellent with fresh ingredients, well prepared and presented. Great value and we'll probably try it again during our stay in Brugge.

“Very popular and good”

Has a great range of Belgian beers and a nice menu. We had dinner here and really enjoyed the Flemish Onion Soup and the the grilled steak. Staff were friendly although there was always people waiting for tables. Reasonably priced.

“enjoyment plus”

great little place - here for lunch; with 400 different beers, the other half was happy, and the food was great, so I was happy too! We had a quaint version of the ploughman's lunch - bread, made with beer of course, a choice of cheese, ham or pate, with a few salady bits on the side, and a salad for 2 with goats cheese on bread that had been saturated in honey (trust me it was delicious), and the salad had cherry tomatoes, bits of fruit (grapes, strawberries, apple) pine nuts, bits of bacon, radish, and topped off with raspberry vinegrette. All up it was just over 33 euro, including drinks, so we were pretty pleased (especially compared to our b awful dinner in the square a couple of night previously). Place has a great ambience too.

“Best rabbit I've had for ages”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 25, 2014

The restaurant is fully booked most nights. We booked the day before.
Portions are large and the food is delicious - glad we only got one starter to share. Traditional dishes sit alongside lighter salad based options.
The large bar area has a great chatty atmosphere.
All restaurants and bars here are expensive but we found this one to be quite reasonable.
