We went to this restaurant as it was recommended by a local. we were staying just around the corner in crown plaza so it was very conveniently located for us. its a bit cramped inside and was a bit tricky to manouvre the buggy. but we got a good table where we parked the buggy next to it. the friday special lunch menu was fantastic value for money as it had delicious chicken soup, lamb and desert all for €15. the other soups were very tasty too, we tried onion soup and tomato soup. the kids pasta with white sauce was also very delicious. the best were the grilled prawns, yummy!
we enjoyed it so much that we decided to go again next day. Again we enjoyed the food but were a bit put off by the service this time around. being a saturday it was very busy and the waiters were probably overworked.
we still enjoyed our meal and will def go there again. a bit pricey if you dont go for the whole special menu!

We have wanted to eat here last year and didn't get it. So we booked for lunch the day before. Lunch was lovely washed down with some lovely beer. Massive collection of beers. Worth a visit

We were recommended this bar/restaurant by an English couple who had been the night before. We booked a table as it was full on Sunday night, earlier you book the more likely to get moved on to make way for other eaters. We had a brilliant meal my fish stew was excellent, and my wife's Irish Rib eye steak was to die for. We were sat between a table of four Dutch students aged early twenties, and two Belgian students early twenties, after a beer or two we were all getting on like a house on fire. To say my wife and I are pensioners, it was really friendly. Our English friends could hardly get a word in edgeways. The menu was huge like a bible, mainly because there were over 400 beers to choose between. Mainly the clientele were locals, but my Eyewitness Travel book of Bruges, advised against tourist restaurants.

We popped in here on a recent weekend in Brugge for a beer as it was close to our hotel and we had also heard positive things about the place. We were fortunate enough to get a table right in the window as it can get very busy. After a beer or two we decided to give the food a go and are glad we did. It was very good and I would say on a par to some of the high end looking restaurants within the city but at a far more reasonable price. All in all a great place for a drink and if you can get a table you should really consider eating here too.

We went there twice. You must make a reservation in advance because it is always full. The beer menu is incredible, never seen something like that. The food is also great. Ask the waiter's advise before choosing a beer.
