“cozy place & good food”
Reviewed February 19, 2014

I was spending some time with my husband, remembering when we first went here in our honeymoon.

We stopped at a nice restaurant that had a really nice setting.

Loved the food and the service was great.

“Delicious!”
Reviewed February 14, 2014 via mobile

We came here on our first night, we were actually heading towards a brasserie further along the same road but the relaxed cozy authentic look of this place from the outside drew us in, and we were not disappointed!- the pigs cheeks were delicious and the chicken pie was apparently the best my boyfriend has ever had! Fantastic.

“As good as the reviews!”
Reviewed February 10, 2014

We came here based on the reviews I had read on tripadvisor and I was not disappointed. We booked the night before and were lucky to get in as come Saturday the restaurant was full. We ordered off the special menu which was 35Euro a head which was incredibly good value for 3 courses. The food was rich, fresh, good quality and very filling. I can recommend the scallops and the duck and the pies which came out looked delicious with a huge puff pastry top.

The only negative I have to say is that I found the atmosphere a bit lacking, as it was quite quiet and subdued even though the restaurant was full. I would still definitely recommend a visit.

“Go for the duck!”
Reviewed February 8, 2014 via mobile

Absolutely amazing meal! The duck with gratin was oh so tender. The service and staff were excellent. The decor was a bit odd, but don't let that put you off.

“So good we went twice”
Reviewed February 6, 2014

Monday and Tuesday night saw us in this very good restaurant - how glad we were because it closes on Wednesday and Thursday!! On night one I had that great Belgian speciality Croquettes au fromage - light and right, followed by a superb, utterly simple and perfectly cooked Steak frites. Duo de Croquettes the following night (one cheese, one prawn - even better) followed by Lapin aux Pruneaux - soooooooooo good. Some very good regional French wines - a Minervois and a Rousillon at around Euros 26 a pop. Bruges is not a cheap city in which to eat, but the price/value ratio here is very acceptable. Sorry, can't tell you about the puddings as we are still on post-Christmas "semi-diets" but they did look awfully good,
