“If you can only do one thing in Bruges, make sure it is this”
Reviewed July 1, 2009

I would thoroughly recommend doing the Brugge by bike tour. Jos, the guide, was hilarious and, being a local, was very clued about about his home city. We also got a lesson on Belgian history thrown in for free as my wife thought that Brussels was a country!

The pace was ideal and Bruges is the perfect city for a bike tour. We felt safe at all times and the drivers of the few cars that were on the road were very respectful of cyclists as there are more locals who cycle in Bruges than who drive.

The tour is also an ideal way to get your bearings of the town and it is a bonus that the tour finished with a friendly drink in the oldest pub in Bruges.

“Cycle and Learn”
Reviewed June 23, 2009

Everyone goes round Brugge (it's Brugge not Bruges when you're in this part of the country!) on a bike and you'll be the odd one out if you don't. We opted for a tour of the town with Quasimundo on the recommendation of a friend who'd visited a year previously. Jos took the tour and his knowledge of his home town is extensive, his command of English is several orders of magnitude better than my Flemish and he has a great sense of humour. My wife nearly fell off her bike when he ventured his opinion on Budweiser, but fortunately there're plenty of other beers to drink. You don't have to be super-fit to do this, the cycling is all at a leisurely pace (unless a bus is steaming up behind you) and there're no hills to worry about. The bikes are good quality and relatively new. I thoroughly recommend this as a good way of learning about and seeing the place.

“Most Fun to be had in Bruges”
Reviewed June 17, 2009

There is very little to be said about our wonderful morning in Brugge that hasn't been said already. We loved the city already, but loved it even more after spending the morning with Jos. He told us the history of the sights we were seeing in a very entertaining way. We enjoyed the stories, and will remember them as well. We kept a comfortable pace, but were never rushed if we had a question or wanted to take a couple more pictures. We had loaner bikes from our hotel which reduced the cost of the tour, but I would actually recommend using Jos' bikes as they were newer and better equipped...even with cushy seats! If you only have time for one thing in Brugge, this is the one not to miss!

An excellent way to see the Belgium countryside and keep fit at the same time. Very child friendly as our three children (ages 5, 6 and 9) will testify. The tours are fun and informative at the same time and the guide, Jos Teughels, is a wealth of knowledge about the locality.

“Great experience taking a bike tour in Brugge”
Reviewed June 15, 2009

We visited Brugge in June 2009. We took two bike tours with Jos at Quas Mundo Bike Tours. It was a wonderful experience. What an easy way to see a beautiful city. Jos made the tour very memorable with lots of interesting facts about the city. The city came alive ihrough the eyes of Jos. We recommend this as a "must do" while in Brugge. The tour to Damme was so relaxing, easy and a great way to see the countryside of Flanders.
