This bar can be hard to find if you're not in the know - we only discovered it on our second trip after a tip off from hotel staff. It is situated between the market square and the burg down a tiny alley. It is small so getting a table is not easy and usually you end up sharing and making new friends (as is the way when drinking in Belgium!) The beer is great - especially the house brew De Garre (which is 11 percent, punters are allowed a maximum of 3!) There is a fairly extensive beer menu and always some guest beers. Once you have visited De Garre you will always return!
