Ibis Budget Hotel Leuven is adjacent to the Railway Station and the embarkation point for the buses to the festival.

It is always clean and well kept and the staff are always friendly and helpful.

The rooms are basic but just perfect for a place to put your head at the end of a heavy festival day.

Room Tip: The triple with a bunk over the double bed provides an ideal place to store baggage etc giving more space.

For those who arrive by car the place is a bit difficult: difficult to find and parking isn't easy. However, between 9pm and 7am it is free along the Martelarenlaan. Those arriving by train: no hotel is better as it abuts the station. Room was basic, narrow beds, sink didn't drain. Walk through the subway to the other side of the station and you'll find bars and restaurants galore.

Situated right above the train station, this must be the best value for money hotel in the area. Rooms are small to average, shower cubicle is separate to the toilet enclave which can be a good thing. Clean rooms, primarily because of the lack of carpeting. Decent breakfast for the price of 7,50, although there are two or three small on-the-go pastry and coffee shops in the train station which could provide for a cheaper breakfast alternative. Wi-fi not too bad for normal usage. Town hall and city centre are a 15min leisurely walk away.

Get what you pay for. Don't expect bathrobes and a jacuzzi. Handy for station and bars/restaurants there. 10 minutes walk to Centre.
Always efficient. Rooms quiet and reasonably comfortable. Don't share with 2 others if you aren't very good friends!

Very friendly and helpful reception. Rooms were spotless, more spacious than the photo look, easy to walk into the old town, plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Only negative for us was we got a bit lost trying to find it. Luckily we had read reviews saying parking was in the station, so when we finally saw station parking signs we followed them, and found the hotel easily after that. I expected the noise of trains to keep me awake, given the hotel is directly above the station, but we slept well despite the window being open.
