Reviewed November 28, 2009

We visited this B&B in November 2009 for the 3rd time. It is situated in
the centre of Leuven, about 100 mtrs. from the first shops and about 300
mtrs. from the “Grote Markt”, with its magnificent town hall and several
bars/restaurants. The B&B is part of a large residential/office building and
is situated on the ground floor, so very accessible for wheelchairs.
Moreover, you can park your car for 3 euro per night in the owner's garage.

Those who prefer a domestic room instead of a characterless hotel room will
make one’s trides. The room is of mediocre medium seize but efficiently
furnished. There are two single beds put together, a small fridge, a table, a
TV with many (international) channels, a couch, some chairs, a row of
pegs, and a book case. There is no air-conditioner, which is common in such
homes (at least in middle Europe). The only disadvantage is the poor quality of
the mattresses (you can feel the springs), but this is solved by putting a
comforter without cover on the bed before you lie down. The room is warm
enough to sleep with only a cover, even in November. There are two linen
cupboards and one with a wash stand: in the corner there is a shower
separated from the room by a curtain. Your private toilet is in the
corridor. The room faces a small closed garden, which means that
there is no noise from outside.

The breakfast is extraordinarily good: four kinds of bread, cheese and meat
products, coffee, tea, fresh orange juice, yoghurt, cereals and
jam. The breakfast is served in the host's living room, whereas they use
their kitchen as their living room. They are extremely kind and helpful and
give you a feeling like being at home. There are also coffee/tea facilities and water in the room.

We paid 69 euro a night which included the excellent breakfast; a very
reasonable price. We intend to visit this B&B again.
