we chose this place because it was on the same street as our hotel and when walking by looked busy!
It is a restaurant with a travel agents attached and the decor is full of pictures and souviners from all over the world,my husband and i loved it!
The menu consists of dishes from around the globe , i had the morrocan lamb burger which came with a cous cous salad and my husband had the ghent beef stew, both were fantastic and although the prices were on par with other places (my burger 11 euros and the stew 16 euros) the portions were a very good sized, my husband and i like our food and we were both full.
I mentioned the service was a little slow but i only noticed 1 waitress working and 1 on the bar doing the drink orders, the waitress was doing all the orders and serving food and drink, im not sure if this is normal or they were missing a member of staff, i have worked in restaurants and the work she was doing is too much for one person to serve people quicky.
The kitchen was almost an open kitchen so you could see what was going on which i like.
I would highly recommend this place and it must be extremely popular as it is only open for lunch between 12-2 and then reopens at i think 6 for evening dinner.
