“Beautiful and welcoming old city”

Beautiful architecture, but still a real town with character not just a tourist trap. Great restaurants and shops.

“Everything is with in walking distance.”
Reviewed August 27, 2013 via mobile

Beautiful, centrally located. This place is wonderful during the day, lots of opportunities for people watching and photos, however come dusk and night time the city is lit by up lighters on the buildings, the reflection from the water is magical.
We found car paring difficult - however after driving round for ages we found 2 massive multi stories car parks opposite each other on st. Nicholas street - st Nicholas church is at the top of the street - central location and a good land mark for the return car park!

“Impression of Wealth”
Reviewed August 25, 2013

The "Graslei" was the busy port area full of traders who came to offer their wares. The interesting buildings are still one of the glories of the city.Their reflections can be seen in the Leie river and give a living impression of the wealth .
