We stayed in room 1 at Snooz Inn for 7 nights in June 2015 and could not have been more pleased. The room was spotlessly clean, the bed large and comfortable and the projection tv a nice change from the small screens you sometimes find in a b&b. Some reviewers commented on lack of privacy in the bathroom but we did not feel it was an issue. The patio outside was a bonus which we used almost daily. Kurt and Inge were as advertised, helpful, non intrusive owners who went out of their way to provide for all our needs. There was even a small fridge and microwave in the room. Make sure to try the breakfast, it was delicious and also a good opportunity to get Kurt or Inge's advice re local restaurants or plans for the day. The location is also very good, just a 10 or 15 min walk to the city centre or the Dampoort train station which has direct trains to Brugge and easy connections at St Pieters for day trips to Antwerp or Brussels. The positives of staying here are too many to list. We highly recommend it.

What an amazing place this is. Kurt and his wife were fantastic hosts. Everything was spotlessly clean, breakfast was delicious and they were extremely helpful in recommending things to do during our stay in Ghent. Our room was very modern and hi-tech with a great shower.

I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Ghent.

The bed was very comfortable and the sheets and towels were very clean. The room was big and had useful amenities like a fridge and a microwave. The bathroom area could use a little more privacy. The sit out was very convenient and well connected to the breakfast area. The selection of coffee was excellent.
The host was very helpful in explaining things to do in the city.
I would recommend this B&B to anyone visiting Ghent.
It is a good walk to the city center, at least 15-20 minutes.

Room Tip: Chose a room by the garden area

This is one of the best of the boutique hotel/B&B places we have visited - and we have stayed in a lot! Its the combination of facilities, free nespresso, outside terrace, colour therapy shower, projection TV with lots of stations and films, small kitchen sink and fridge so you can really relax and enjoy. On top of this we couldn't have had a better host than Kurt who was welcoming, informative and generous with his time when wanted. Good breakfasts too! If we are back in Ghent we will be staying here.

My wife and I travelled to Ghent at the end of May 2015. No doubt about it, the Snooz Inn is top class accommodation. From the outside it looks average, but once inside you can immediately see that Kurt, the owner, takes great pride in the service he is offering. The room was comfortable, spacious and, for such a modern room, had character.
All the basics were spot on. Cleanliness, comfort, location and helpful staff. What sets it apart from other places is the extras such as a luxury shower room, a projector tv, outside space with table and chairs and an extra large bed.
We were fortunate in being able to park the car in the street as soon as we arrived. In order to pay the 3.50 euros day rate make sure you press the yellow button on the parking meter before inserting the money.
Ghent is a great city to visit. Make sure you do the boat tour, Castle of the Counts, Belfry and St Bavo's Cathedral. Good pubs to visit are Kanon (Meerseniersstraat 17), Trollekelder (Bij Sint-Jacobs 17) and Hot Club de Gand (Groentenmarkt 15b, through a narrow alley). For a decent breakfast try Celtic Towers Irish pub near St Michael's Bridge. Both the accommodation and city come highly recommended.
