“Nice experience”
Reviewed January 1, 2014

The bunker in the basement was a very realistic experience. We really felt like we were in a bombing raid. Displays were very good.

“Some good exhibits and facts on the battle”
Reviewed December 10, 2013

If you are planning a stay of more than one day in Bastogne and have already visited the military barracks/Tank Museum and completed a tour with Roby or Jens, this museum is defintiely worth a look.

“Small, but very nice”
Reviewed November 8, 2013

This museum contains items from WWII, as well as exhibits showing various aspects of the 101st Airborne's experiences. It was very informative and well worth seeing. It's a self guided tour at your own pace.

“Not to be missed”
Reviewed October 28, 2013

This museum takes a little bit of finding, hidden away in a back street, but it is well worth the effort. The exhibits are comprehensive, the staff are helpful and the context in the old officers mess sets it all off well. It is not too big - no rambling galleries - so it can be taken in easily but at leisurely pace. The entrance fee is cheap, although this is waived for WW2 veterans. The "final" exhibit in the cellar is not to be missed ...

There are stairs up the three storeys/levels, and we did not see a lift/elevator (there may be one, but we used the stairs), so it may not be disabled-friendly.
