“Brilliant Belgian beer bar!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 31, 2013

Just off the main square you'll find this gem of a bar with a long and interesting list of Belgian beers. The bar is very much a typical Belgian bar rather than a restaurant, offering well prepared snacks such as Croque Monsieur, sandwiches and the unique "Pierrade" - a hot stone on the table where you cook the meat yourself. There is also some limited outdoor seating.

The staff are very helpful and friendly and a delightful night can easily be spent here.

A must if you like Belgian beers!

“Best pub in Bastogne”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 24, 2012

As the last reviewer mentioned, this great little pub serves a unique beer (Airborne) in a special helmet-shaped ceramic bowl-glass which in iteslf make it worth seeking the place out - down the first side lane off the road linking Pl McAuliffe with the old church. They also have a big range of other beers and good value meals, though I can't say that I get tempted by their recent speicality which is cooking meat on hot stones.

Relaxed ambience.

“Charming little brewery/beer pub-a must see!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 10, 2012

This place brews the Airborne beer that is served in the clay helmets which you must try while in Bastogne. We didn't eat here, but this pub has a great cozy feel, excellent ambience, and is the perfect place to kick back for a few hours and sample all the Belgian beers. It has a cozy atmosphere, not touristy, seemed full of locals, and is a quick walk from Place McAuliffe. We didn't find anyone who spoke English here, but we managed to get by with a little French. This will be your favorite evening spot in Bastogne!

“Hidden gem”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 29, 2011

Brasserie Lamborelle has good food at very reasonable prices (7 euro for lasagna or chocolate fondue), a huge beer selection, and nice ambience. Try the daily menu/suggestions. It is about one block northeast of MacAuliffe Square, and was recommended in our Lonely Planet guidebook. The menu is in French only, but our server spoke excellent English.
