We had a group of 16, they got us in with no problem at 830pm on a saturday night! We had ONE waiter between all of us, he took all of our drink & food orders without writing ANYTHING down! He was amazing, everything was executed perfectly! He was a bit snooty but in a fun way. He spoke 5 languages fluently and apparently had a photographic memory! He had every right to be snooty! He even remembered everything we had (including number of beers) when individually walked up to the bar to pay. Amazing. Food was outstanding!! Prices were on the higher end, but the beer was amazing and very cheap. :) Excellent experience! :)

Once again Very cold weather and snow prevented us from eating outside
An English menu is available on request but I'm not sure it was correctly translated . We both had as a starter French Onion Soup with a cheesy bread 'crouton' . Choices of main courses  included, pigeon, pigs foot, rabbit, steak, ham hock. We had meat balls and chips. (3 large tasty meatballs which were quite filling for my wife. I had  chicken & mushroom vol au vaunt with chips. Lovely food which we both enjoyed. Well worth our second visit.
It is a popular restaurant which has received several awards and was still receiving customers after 10pm. A very nice 2 course meal with  wine for under 60 Euros.

We went there for dinner. I had a rabbit stew and my coleague the calf tongue. The food was nice and the portion size was rather large. I selected a St. Emillion wine, the year was printed as 2006 on the wine list. When the waiter brought a bottle from 2008, I returned it. My second selection was a Beaujolais from 2008. The same thing happened. They had either 2010 or 2011. This does not usually happen.
The service was OK, however we had to wait rather long for the dessert service.

As a Belgian I truly recommend this place for the taste of simple fresh local traditional dishes. Their menu is impressive if you are looking for the traditional Belgian recipes. The fries are home cut and have the right size.Surely not to compare with 'French' fries who are served everywhere in the world to people who can not distinguish the art of the fried potato -;)
Try the rabbit, or the stew, or go for any meat dish you will probably not find on other menus in the city. The name of the restaurant should be a local bird, pronounced in Walloon, a local French language. The atmosphere punches you right in the former century and its design. We were lucky to have a very funny, but dynamic waiter. The little Asian man who welcomed us at the restaurant and who brings you the final bill, should be replaced if he cannot be more pleasant. That was the only minor point and their service is quick and prices are very right.

This restaurant is situated amongst several others which all have outside seating close to the centre of Liege. However this stands out from the rest because of the way it is presented. All the tables have linen tablecloths and the staff are smartly dressed. We looked at all of the menus for the restaurants, but the impression from 'As Ouhes' made it our choice even though it was slightly more expensive than most of the other restaurants. We were not disappointed, the service was very good even when a thunderstorm suddenly appeared, the waiters allowed us to move indoors and they served us well. The interior of the restaurant was quaint but very original with wood paneling. It was impressive and welll worth viewing. We had the Meatballs, cooked in a honey and beer sauce with raisins. Served with chips but no vegetables, it was a very good and filling meal. For 10 euros we chose half a litre of the white house wine, it was quite good. Both the wine and food can be expensive but our choice was a main course only which was a reasonable price at the lower end of the menu.
For good food this is well worth considering, you should not be disappointed, Bon appetite .
