As others have noted, the area in front of the hotel is under construction. It is still quite easy to reach from the train station--at most a 5 minute walk. The rooms are recently renovated, quite spacious, and offer all the amenities. Breakfast not included, cost €10/person--a bit pricey but nicer than what's available in the surrounding area. The wi-fi did go out one day during our stay, which the desk stated was caused by the outside construction, but still an inconvenience. The front desk did provide good recommendations for restaurants and stores in the area, including a place to buy a new curling iron (an unexpected "emergency"!). The prices for the rooms are very reasonable. If you like quiet--at least until the construction is over--I would recommend asking for a room not facing the street. Ours faced an interior courtyard and was very peaceful. If ever in Liege again, I would definitely stay here again.

There's lots of roadworks happening outside the hotel at the moment, which is a bit problematic if you are driving. Firstly, the road is blocked so you can only approach the hotel from one direction. Secondly, it's difficult to find parking close by.
The rooms are comfortable, clean and well-equipped. Very good free wifi. The breakfast was poor. For some bizarre reason we had to endure children's TV at 7am in the morning and the 'hot' food wasn't hot. It wasn't even warm. It was actually completely cold.

stayed 2 nights; wanted to see the Christmas Market before I headed out to Munich early in the morning.
Got to the hotel at 1000; room not ready. Sat and had a cup of coffee in the breakfast room while I planned my day; decided to go to Amsterdam for the day to visit a friend (3 hr trip). Left my luggage and headed across the street to catch my train.
Hotel directly across the street from The Gare; could not have been more convenient. Room was clean and modern; heard absolutely no street noise including the roadway
construction . Would have liked a mini-fridge to chill my water/drinks.Free wifi throughout the hotel with super quick connection. Breakfast included in room price - was ok. Belgian chocolate cake was to die for. No other food services available; bar open 24 hrs with reception staff acting as bar staff.
Hotel is 5-20 minute walk into city center via main street; bus outside hotel will take you there as well.
Elevator out of line of sight to reception desk - that was a little odd; hope they have a CCTV to watch activity coming into hotel.
Would recommend hotel if staying a few days and need to get to train station early.

Room Tip: found no issues with soundproofing with my street facing room--didn't hear a thing

Stayed here for 2 nights. Lovely hotel with friendly helpful staff, very comfortable beds and pillows, great shower room, stunning modern decor, room was spacious with plasma tv.
Breakfast was included and there was a good selection.
Good location close to the train station.
Think I got a special price, 170 euros for 2 nights, it was well worth this price.

Room Tip: We had a twin room which had 2 large comfortable beds pushed together, we were on the 4th floor whic...

We went in Liege in October and stayed in this hotel 2 nights. It was good, not extraordinary , but very quiet taking into account that his is across the " Gare de Liege", which by the way is a piece of art. Personel was friendly and the room were clean. You can eat only breakfast , 15 Euro per person( we didn't), but you can also find a wide range of restaurants and bistro's a few steps from the hotel. You can reach center ( about 2.5-3 KM ) by steps ( we did), and it is a pleasant walk.
Something very interesting : even Liege it's 20 km away from Maastricht there is a huge difference between the two cities( worth to visit both and compare ).

Room Tip: Ask for a room opposite to the " Gare de Liege", even that it is quiet in the others too.

Spent 7 nites in October 2012 for the purpose of seeing several nearby cities. Get up in the morning, hop the train right across the street & bop into Cologne or Brussels for a day of history & art toursim. Hotel is surprisingly quiet, as in silent and very clean with pleasent & welcoming staff. Road construction out front & some run down neighbor businesses but friendly taverns a half block to the west where you can get a good meal & the best ales in the world; then home to watch some BBC or CNN, fall asleep & head to Namur the next day.

Room Tip: room looked right out at the train station but I had to try hard to hear a train come in or go out.
