Loads of fun things to do and see for both my 1 and 5 year old!
Loved that the park is relatively small. This makes it easy to see and do everything with small children.

We decided on a few days in Belgium and after a visit to the caves of han (certainly an option!) we went on our way to Plopsa Coo. We drove from Durbuy to Coo and as for usual our satnav decided that we should have the touristy route. Normally this annoys me, but now it ended with two scared kids, an annoyed mum and a dad with white knuckles on the steering wheel. So, if you do drive there, stay on the main roads, despite the best advice from your satnav. ;-)
Plops Coo: excellent choice! The location of the park makes it worthwhile for parents as well. The "waterfalls of Coo" were a bit of a letdown, but still a nice addition to the scenery. The rides are good fun for all ages, and I guess we were lucky and had very short queues, so we had the chance to get on most of the rides we wanted to, despite arriving later than planned. There's a cable car going up the mountain so you get a good view of the surrounding area and the artificial lake (the forrest on the left is where we ended up with our satnav) :)
All in all, the whole family had a great day, the rides are good fun, the food was acceptable and the stores sell nice little items for sort of normal prices. The parking is right opposite the entrance and even if you don't want to pay, you can still visit the park, the only thing is, you can't go on any of the rides. You can buy a card where they tick off a set number for every ride you go on.

This amusement park gives an excellent solution for families: when your kids are really in the mood or old enough for an amusement park, you can buy a ticket which gives your children entrance to all the attractions. When you think they are too young for most of the attractions or you do not have a lot of time because they have to do their nap, you can always buy your tickets "à la carte" for each attraction. When you do not want to spend any money, you can watch the Bumba or Plop shows (with the real actors! great for the kids) for free or walk around in the park and play in the park's fountains when it's really hot. You can also spend some time watching the waterfall of Coo which you have to pass when you go to the park. It's not easy to find a deal like this.

Get wet through all these attractions! This is a Walibi-style amusement park smack in the middle of the Ardennes! Makes for a great day when you're tired of trekking around the place!
